TEXT: Genesis 47:15-22 15
So when the money failed in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came to Joseph and said, “Give us bread, for why should we die in your presence? For the money has failed.”
16 Then Joseph said, “Give your livestock, and I will give you bread for your livestock, if the money is gone.” 17 So they brought their livestock to Joseph, and Joseph gave them bread in exchange for the horses, the flocks, the cattle of the herds, and for the donkeys. Thus he fed them with bread in exchange for all their livestock that year.
18 When that year had ended, they came to him the next year and said to him, “We will not hide from my lord that our money is gone; my lord also has our herds of livestock. There is nothing left in the sight of my lord but our bodies and our lands. 19 Why should we die before your eyes, both we and our land? Buy us and our land for bread, and we and our land will be servants of Pharaoh; give us seed, that we may live and not die, that the land may not be desolate.” 20 Then Joseph bought all the land of Egypt for Pharaoh; for every man of the Egyptians sold his field, because the famine was severe upon them. So the land became Pharaoh’s. 21 And as for the people, he moved them into the cities, from one end of the borders of Egypt to the other end. 22 Only the land of the priests he did not buy; for the priests had rations allotted to them by Pharaoh, and they ate their rations which Pharaoh gave them; therefore they did not sell their lands.
FAITH DECLARATION
- From this passage we read that money failed, which means that there are some things that money cannot buy in life.
- Money cannot buy health. In the remaining part of year 2024 and by my commitment to practicing the word, no matter the heat on this earth, it will not affect me and my household! Malachi 3:6-11.
- Because the righteous do not beg bread, the days of my famine are over! Psalm 37:25.
- As I seek first the kingdom of God throughout the year 2024, I will never lack bread and water on my table! Exodus 23:25-33
- As I walk in the light of scripture, the destructions and devastations of these hard times shall never come near my home! Psalms 91:7.
- As I continue to serve God with joy and gladness, God will make me to laugh, and all that here will laugh with me! Genesis 21:6/ Psalm 35:27
- This week, as I walk in the fear of the Lord, I will be divinely guided into realms of supernatural abundance and breakthroughs. Isaiah 58:11-12/ Psalm 23:1-6
- By my faith in the finished work of Christ, my health will be fully restored this week! Jeremiah 30:17 / Matthew 9:27-29
- This week, through the revelation of the word, health, and vitality will be my testimony! Job 33:21-25
- I am free from every form of sickness and disease this year! Matthew 8:1-2
- Every planting of the devil in my body, in terms of sickness, diseases, pains, discomforts and afflictions is rooted out right now! Matthew 15:13
- As I continue to give to the poor, I will be completely delivered from every affliction of sickness and disease! Psalm 41:1-3
I declare these by faith, over my life, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
