Hi Greg! great to see there is a peak on Samos, will fly down there on Sunday and looking to get up here. Is the trail well indicated, easy to follow? Or do I need a map?
No need for a map, its pretty easy. Use my strava GPS track to find the trailhead. I got lost the first time I tried though, at the Moni Evangelistrias (around 650m ASL). When you are there, keep the monastery on your left, don't go through the gate just keep going up the mountain into the forest. Are you running or hiking? Nothing should have changed I believe! I don't live on Samos anymore but did this route 10+ times, and it's one of my all time favorites (even after moving to Chamonix).
