Republicans want 100% control over Americans. That is made very clear in the 2025 Project of which JD Vance is one of the principle authors. Vance was placed as potential VP to Trump to keep Donald on the Republican's track. As a European, it is a very dangerous path.

Vice Presidents are rarely elected president. It literally almost NEVER happens. Look it up if ya don't believe me. One of the reasons why I'm not too worried about the Harris/Balz administration.

I just went and double checked myself. There have been six current or former Vice Presidents who were elected to the presidency. To break it down even further: there have only been four current vice presidents who ran for president while still in office as VEEP to win the presidency. Those four are: George H W Bush (SR), before that it was Martin van Buren, before that Thomas Jefferson, and before that John Adams. Those are your four. The other two were FORMER Veeps who came back later and ran for president.....Nixon in '68 and Biden in '20. So Kamala is going against history as it's been 36 years since it happened last.

Yeah uh just being the vice president doesn't mean you can make changes happen instantly - the Senate and Congress vote on stuff too, which tends to be where a lot of stuff dies when a party doesn't have control of one or either. Additionally tax cuts have been present under basically every one of those presidents - the difference I can see is that for some reason trump set his cuts up to expire, which is rather odd, wouldn't you think?

Biden and Harris have just lowered costs on some common prescriptions. Also started infrastructure bill that was 20 years past due. Trump tax code that cut corporate taxes is permanent. He’ll give them more tax break if he’s reelected. Biden and Harris need to find other ways now to give breaks to the majority middle class.

You may be interested in researching to see if that's actually true (the implementation of said policies) - beyond that, vice presidents do not have that much authority. They can't do much on their own.
