Hello Jeff! I was just thinking about you and Miss Marie when I got notified of your Part 3 and started to watch it until I decided to watch your Part 1. Thank you for taking me along with you on your beautiful drive up the mountain! Sorry, I've been missing you but, my Mom was admitted to Mercy in Ardmore on July 28th and now here in Mercy Tishomingo in rehab. We thought she wasn't going to make it. I should've been watching your videos then but, no notifications. If I lived there I'd have to have my feet on flat ground. I'll get your part 2 watched tomorrow. We took some of those same rides last time we were up there and enjoyed seeing the unseen Gatlinburg!! We stayed on Baskins Creek Rd and just kept on driving and exploring. I could live happily in some of those houses/condos!
Gatlinburg is almost all Vacation Rentals. Pigeon Forge is similar. Pigeon Forge is a small town of only 6000 residents yet in 2023 Pigeon Forge visitors spent over $3 BILLION dollars in the small city. Let that sink in. Crazy for such a small city, Gatlinburg even smaller did similar. Sevier County is a tourism machine.
