    Now I have to make this bag. I’ve never made anything with a gusset. Thank you being such a good teacher.

    I've so enjoyed your tutorials. Also, you can turn the bag trough the zipper pouch, since you have a nice gusset bottom. I just leave the entire zipper pocket bottom open, then sew once bag all birthed. 🥰

    I like the way you put your scaps together; it's a bit different from my method and I like it! Looks so pretty and is such fun to do. Thank you for sharing your project! Danielle

    Hello Yoan...if I don't want the bottom of the bag curved, could I put the gusset in... n then do the 2 1/2 or 3 inch boxed corners and then make the bag the same way and do lining the same way?
    Would that be ok? I love your bags and tks for sharing....

    • @YoanSewingStudio
      @YoanSewingStudio  Před 4 lety +2

      Hi Barbara, I would suggest to leave out the gusset altogether, and simply do the typical boxing the corners (it will be much simpler), you will need to make your front and back panels a slight bigger though, to compensate it, maybe around 14.5" x 14" (or as desired). Hope this helps, thank you, and anytime!

    I’m sure this is a silly question but why are you not sewing the pieces together straight when you are overlapping them? Why do you need to put them together on the slight angel? (We’ve never quilted before, sorry)

    • @YoanSewingStudio
      @YoanSewingStudio  Před 4 lety +1

      Simply to get the irregular shape in random angles, since I wanted the look of the patchwork to be "scrappier" and more interesting. You may also piece them together in straight position and then sew, it's just a matter of what kind of look you want to achieve :).Thank you!
