Expression on her face before the wedding is the same as it was on the face of my beloved wife with whom I lived in peace and happiness for almost sixty years until the Angel of Death took her away from me. This is just lovely! Having only recently recovered my own Jewish roots, I have such a deep appreciation for the beautiful culture! And while I haven't researched genetics on my maternal side, I had noticed over the years, that nearly all of our very large family excelled in academics (seemingly with no struggle), despite living in significant poverty. I don't like to use the word pride to describe this pleasant surprise, but rather, delighted. We're still trying to recover our heritage, (possibly Sepharidic) so if this is an improper statement, order, or context, please let me know! Shalom berakhah ve-tovah.
