Professor Marion Nestle, prominent nutrition scientist at NYU, found her appearance in this film seriously out of context. She requested that her sections be removed, which director Scott Hamilton Kennedy refused to do. Nestle called the film propaganda in her blog.
A few things to note. Monsanto does not exist by that name any longer as it is currently owned by Bayer. They are a seed company. Selling 'Roundup' is a very small part of their business. The patent for 'Roundup'/glyphosate expired long ago which is why it is manufactured by many other companies. Also it is worth noting that genetic engineering has applications well outside of anything Monsanto is currently producing. This movie covers to a few of them. The papaya story from Hawaii is well worth a look. That entire crop industry would have vanished if not for Genetic Engineering. Genetic Engineering is one tool humanity can use to ensure a steady food supply. The Arctic Apple is a great example of its benefit. I encourage you to view the movie and thank you for your comment.

isn't the only, or at least the main reason, Monsanto wants GMO crops is to sell a quadrillion $$ worth of Roundup?
