Yeah but with Big Arms instead of Heavy King,the both are the final bosses from Sonic 3 and Knuckles,and the Doomsday Zone is the true final boss so the Death Egg 2.0 (i call that robot like that for the similitude) and Big Arms fits very well

Sega needs to bring back Hyper Sonic
They sracped hyper in mania
They had their chance in Colors.
With the Wisps energy being called Hyper-go-on, scrapped dialogue saying Hyper-go-on is more powerful than the Chaos Emeralds, the entire gimmick being about COLORS, you cannot convince me that SEGA originally planned to include Hyper Sonic in the game.
Shelby Drome hyper sonic was only bonus content when you combine S3 and S&K, and I think it should stay that way. Super sonic is already over powered as it is, we don’t need a extended super sonic.
Not only that, hyper sonic is not cannon because sonic never discovered hyper sonic/super emeralds in the first place. In the hyper sonic ending, egg robo is destroyed, preventing knuckles story from happening. The super sonic ending on the other hand shows egg robo rising, thus resulting knuckles’ story.
Knuckles doesn’t even find the super emeralds either.

Well that zone is actually in the game if you get all the chaos emeralds but you turn into super sonic instead of hyper sonic

If I could make a mod, it would bring back a few classic levels in this order:
1. Emerald Hill
2. Marble Garden (Act 1)/Aquatic Ruin (Act 2)
3. Casino Night
4. Ice Cap
5. Metropolis
6. Scrap Brain
7. Launch Base
8. Sky Sanctuary
9. Death Egg (Rebuilt)
The final stage would be called Project Chaos, named after the music album.

Really like how this mod brings back doomsday zone with a cool remix and hyper sonic considering hyper sonic was intended to be in mania
I know this video is a year old so I don’t really expect an answer back, but has anyone notice over the years how the Super Sonic form (I know this is hyper but still applies) has went from being invincible to being able to be hunt (not killed) in the form to outright being able to be taken out of said form that is not counting Knuckles in Sonic 3. I mean story wise it kinda scares me how Eggman and other things have gotten stronger. If they keep up with this I wonder if they would reach a point where Sonic faces something that doesn’t even blink at having the Chao Emeralds?

@@cay7809That actually makes sense in gameplay. Whenever you go super or don't have any rings, you're probably panicking to either get more rings to keep Super, or to get one ring to survive.
You were right. THE END barely feels a thing from Super Sonic. Had to go Super Sonic 2 (kinda). The DBZ power creep is real, lol. Maybe our grandchildren will see Super Sonic God Super Sonic.

@@em5345- extremely simple. find the file of the extra life noise and then remove it but remember the name of the file. get the trumpet note sound effect and rename it to the extra life sound name then send the trumpet note file into where the extra life sound file was before it was deleted.
This is the best mod in any game I’ve ever seen, I wish this could of been a hidden boss for sonic mania.

Infinite So It fucking sucks. Hyper Sonic flashes multicolor in 3&Knuckles, and unfortunately we can't do anything about it Since it's a recolor of Super Sonic in this mod.

To be fair, Sonic 3 did come out in the early 90’s, which comes with many technical limitations.

in an alternate reality, this would have been the true final boss of Encore mode.
the phantom ruby teleports them into space instead of the egg reviere, and eggman uses his final weapon, and the heavy king uses asteroids instead of the orb things.
and, the emeralds in sonic and knuckles are used as a big part like it was in S&K, and hyper sonic was used instead of super.

As much as it tries, it isn’t Sonic 3K’s Doomsday Zone. There was no floor to catch you and rings didn’t magnetise toward you, you weren’t safe, just strong enough to survive and fast enough to make it.
Even now the original doomsday zone is the best. Nobody could’ve come up with the sound, visuals and emotions like sega did

Wow the hyper sonic was added into sonic mania in the files of the game, but they dont added it :(, if you go into the files in sonic mania, you can see: Master Emerald, you can now transform into hyper sonic, and the super emerald can get by the checkpoint bonus :D

This is actually the final boss...HOWEVER, you need to get all the chaos emeralds and beat the game to get this ending and true final boss nvm this is different it’s not the main one in mania

The only reason why Sonic is in his Hyper Form is because the Giant Egg Robo is there. It has the Master Emerald inside of it.

I think the Robo Robotnik looks great, but the color pallette reminds me too much of Sonic 3. The Sonic 3 color pallette fits mania horribly, so hopefully the mod maker fixes that. I'm in extreme doubt that they will, but it's so jarring.
I made the mod. I don’t see anything wrong with the palette at all. It’s also VASTLY different from S3, you can download and compare. I’m not updating this mod further, and it’s also two years old.
