Psilocybin, LSD, shrooms and ketamine are absolutely life changing substances that have so much potential to help people with mental health issues.
Does anyone know where I can source them?
is he on Instagrm?
Sure,dr.larryshroommn
Psychedelics definitely have potential to deal with mental health, they really helped me.
dr.larryshroommn has been my supplier for over a year now. No problems.
I have learned more from this young man than I did in 3 plus years of college Horticulture. Even though he speaks rapidly, his enunciation of the Latin is so smooth and crystal clear. His rapid fire descriptions are so easily understood that I am constantly pausing the vids so that I can make notes. Thank you thank you thank you....

My goodness this gentleman has a brain that rapid fires info like I've never seen before he is a wealth of information. 🥰
As an environmental scientist I know my trees but I'm trying to expand my mushroom knowledge and this is hands down one of the best videos I've found on the subject with accurate info
pronouncing scientific names like a BOSS!
Delon ikr. Definitely couldn’t say half of these names....
Besides the names as well!
This guy is definitely college educated --- I can't see a Deplorable saying complex names like that
@@billbelzek6748 he likely has a biology background with a mycological concentration.
How's that for a deplorable?
@@richavic4520 I would have to believe that he concentrated in all his subjects...How's that for a deplorable?😂
What an absolute pleasure to hear a true expert speak so freely and with so much joy and enthusiasm.... Thank you so much for sharing with all those willing to learn.
I concur. I'm wondering if he has a regular doctor, or even has one, and if he does, if he gives THEM advice??!! For his age, his knowledge seems a bit intimidating at times.

@@cornfusedatbest6693 I don't find his knowledge intimidating at all..I'm an old fart, glad to learn new tricks! I want to keep on learning til the day I'm farting dust. Adam has a lot to contribute and I'm glad I found his uploads.

The 7 mushroom hunter trees he mentions in this video is:
1) Oak
2) Beech
3) Birch
4) Elm
5) Hemlock
6) Pine
7) Spruce

Man, you can lay out a lot of info in a sentence or two. I love that you do it so clearly. That obviously comes from really knowing your stuff so thanks for all the hard work you didi to learn this!
He is so gosh darn smart.
This is the most helpful mushroom guide I've ever seen. The key in foraging is knowing where to find what you are looking for otherwise you are wasting time and energy looking everywhere. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@LearnYourLand Is cordycepts good?
@@njmite2765 cordyceps is a medicinal mushroom, but does not grow in the forest. It is the result of a parasitic fungus, that consums it's host (a specific caterpillar) resulting in the 'mushroom' that we consume.
@@MsSheilaC Isnt that bad because the host has to eat it to get infected which inturn infects us?
@@njmite2765 while it is strange the way it is formed in nature, most cordyceps is control grown now. There is a lot of information (just google) re cordyceps and the benefits.
The best video I've seen on mushrooms. This guy is extremely knowledgeable.
really grateful for your vids, Adam. they inform me but they also calm me down. your genuine enthusiasm and interest (and apparent compassion) are refreshing. hope you are having a great day, man.
Thanks so much, Lloyd! I appreciate the kind words.
I wish you were my neighbor I would never go home. I get so excited with your educational videos. I learned all my fossils and used to hunt, many were I am, but wish before I moved off grid I learned more about trees and wild food. Thank you and God Bless You.
You’re a great teacher ! I’ve just recently got back into mushroom hunting and already feel like I’ve learned a great deal from your videos . Thank you !
White Birch forests are a-mazing. And one mushroomed mentioned that should really stick out is Honey Mushroom. I was taught this one as "popinki" because, Eastern Europe! They're also noticeable because they can be seen at night (foxfire, greenish glow). They fry up something fantastic and make great soup. In my experience they've got a nice crispness when fried properly. Notably an Autumn mushroom mostly but when they grow, bring a couple baskets.
More tree/mushroom videos! The best! Thank you Adam, you’re awesome.
Adam, Just discovered you recently. You are so intelligent and fascinating to listen to. Thanks for sharing your information. Love your classes! 💚
Thank you!
Great video - thanks for your generosity, Adam. Your love for the land, and your knowledge is infectious!
Excellent! As the daughter of an Audubon Society enthusiast, and dragged to all kinds of "outings" as a child, I can verify that you have an unprecedented level of knowledge and enthusiasm for your subjects. Thanks. actually enjoyable.
Awesome content! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and with such zeal. I came here after watching a mushroom summit and I think I learned in 18 mins what I learned from a 3-day summit. Love the emphasis on the trees as that is a completely important tip for foraging.
You are awesome bud. Thanks for all the good info. Not many people I find vidoes from are as articulate, knowledgeable, and informative as you are. Thank you and keep up the good work.
I love your enthusiasm. You have some kind of way about you... great teacher, great video. I learned far more than I expected. Thanks for taking the time to be so informative!
Thank you for your time and knowledge Adam. Learning so much. Greatly appreciated.
You are simply remarkable! Thank you for taking the time to tell us the many things that you know. Much appreciated!
Brilliant Adam. You have the gift of the gab..how you deliver so much information at high speed is impressive!

So glad i learned something before i died. i shall pass this on. *Thanks so much!*
Found my first Chanterelle, it tasted unique. Thank you for helping me get into the hobby, great videos.
You were made for this. Thank you for being a messenger of the woods. Can't wait to use and share your wisdom.
I found a huge hen of the woods mushroom where I live in a red oak grove. It was really tasty and easy to identify. I have read that they can also grow on hickory trees.
can't thank you enough for this video, this really helped me id trees big time. love all your videos.
I had to watch it again! I am in the profession of ornamental hort. This is a very clear presentation, ands absolutely inspired me to pursue
Hey I just want to say every one of your videos are such a help. The way you talk and your positive energy is so great. Please keep it up. Cheers.
SO incredibly helpful! Goodness, with each video I watch of yours I keep thinking how incredibly bright you are and how articulate and well rounded. You look so young that it takes me aback. I'm just a new mushroom hunter, mostly doing this while caring for our livestock and gardens. Or when I just need to escape to the woods on the mountain behind us to appreciate the quiet there. Thank you, so much for all of this information.
A wonderful suggestion!
Now I have a way to start studying mushrooms and learning well known trees at the same time.
Thank, you!
Extremely helpful! I've been working on tree identification this winter, and this video hit the spot.
Awesome, glad you enjoyed it!
I can't believe how fast you rattle all of that information off! Your knowledge is incredible! Thank you for sharing your passion.
I have come back to this video which is a gold nugget, packed with the most important things when trying to locate mushrooms. Astounding knowledge and delivery.
Yesterday I went in my backyard wooded area and found lion's mane! I've done much research and I was going to purchase a lion's mane extract the same exact day, I was/am very very thankfull
You have the most in depth but yet easy to follow videos.
Thanks!
Bravo! Clear crisp communication skills, presenting a very practical topic: picking select trees to learn for foraging. Good energy! Subscribed.
You are my go-to mushroom expert, before I check my books! You are amazing; thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us!
Thanks for sharing! We were just talking about this!! We need to know our trees for sure.
Another fantastic video with awesome content Adam! Your knowledge of the plant & mushroom kingdoms is truly amazing. You deserve a ton more subscribers..............
Thanks for watching!
This was such a great video! My bf and I were out hiking through the woods in New Hampshire this weekend, and we looked up and saw something high up in a white birch tree underneath a broken branch that was black and frothy. We wondered if it was a chaga, which we had been looking for during our hikes these past couple of weeks but never were able to successfully identify. Well, after watching this video, I can confirm that we definitely saw a chaga! Recently, we've been learning about different types of trees growing in nearby forests that I've never paid attention to in the past. It's kind of like rediscovering a new aspect of nature.
You blow my mind with all the information you can remember and rattle off so easily.
Wow, what an impressive video. Absolutely jam-packed with information. Excellent content, Adam.
Great information as always! Excellent for me anyway. I shared to FB and have been sending everyone I know who’s even remotely interested in mushrooms to your channel! Super excited to get out this spring and really dive in. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge. You’re truly appreciated! Blessings ~Lisa
You're welcome, Lisa! Thanks for your continued support!
ADAM!!! you are such a kind heart and i can not THANK YOU enough for your content!!! BLESS YOU AND YOUR VAST KNOWLEDGE!!! Momma Nature LOVES YOU!!!
Your mushroom stills are awesome! And the lecture was one of THE most engaging. I wish there was someone in Western Washington like you.
I'm heading out with a buddy this weekend to do some hammock camping and explore the forest for some wild edibles. Adam, you are such an inspiration, I have been in the woods my whole life and have never been more driven, by you, to learn what grows around us. Keep up the great work, you are touching many souls! I hope you make it to Michigan again this year Adam.
Thanks Todd! Great to hear from you as always. I'm actually leading a walk or two at the Great Lakes Foragers Gathering in Grass Lake, MI in early June. Perhaps I'll see you there!
You're the man Adam! I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos and I'm so thankful that you take the time to make them. I live in New York's Hudson Valley and your videos are quite helpful for my region. Keep up the good work!

As well as wild woodlands, there are a lot of pine plantations near me (one being within walking distance, conveniently). Lots of people moan about the pine plantations, but a few years ago I started walking through them and found lots of different types of mushrooms.
After studying these mushrooms very, very carefully, it took me a couple of years to pluck up courage and start using them. Now I look forward to autumn mushroom season - finding Boletes, Chanterelles, Hen-Of-The-Woods, Amethyst Deceivers, Hedgehog Mushrooms, and wild Oysters.
Fantastic video. I will put this on my save list!
You're right across Lake Erie from me. I'm in southern Ontario Canada. It's great everything you talk about is relevant here.
Holy knowledge and eloquence!! Marvelous, just splendid little tutorial
Love this! We have 5 acres full of different oak trees. Can’t wait to get my kids out and mushroom hunting for our nature journaling 🤓
How did your kids take to it all so far?
You are sooo positive and energetic, love it. Thank you for this video.
The info in this video is easily worth its weight. Not many mycos sending this info out there for free. Good stuff dude.
Once again Adam great info!! Now I am super excited to get out in the woods today! The weather isn't to bad in Conneaut Ohio today.
Thanks Stephen!
Wow! Did you read my mind this past week? I've been researching this because I am looking to purchase some woodland soon and all of these trees are present on the land I want. You hit two birds with one stone for me! Thanks! Now to do the final gathering of info for medicinal and edible uses of these trees. I think I'm gonna need a bigger notebook, lol. I wish I could just download your brain onto a thumbdrive or sd card! Again, Thanks a lot for the info!
You're welcome, and thanks for watching and commenting!
Wouldn't it be amazing to download all that knowledge!? It would be the only way I could keep it in my memory.
I really love to watch you ,thank you so much ,your a true soldier .saving this one for the basics . Thank you ,I needed this .
This is awesomely informational. I can't wait to start identifying stuff on our happy woods walks. Thanks, Adam!
Really like your ecological approach...relationships between species! Thanks!
Thanks, Ed!
You are awesome! Your knowledge and passion is so impressive & inspirational. Mushrooms are a staple of my diet, and I’m looking forward to learning more about them. 😀
Okay I took pics of every mushroom and every tree, can't wait to learn how to forage edibles from the forest. Herbs included. Thanks for such an indepth guide and beautiful pictures and names of each mushroom you talked about. Take care my friend.
I love watching the videos you put out. Very informative and really helpful. Great job!
Loved the video and completely agree with learning your trees. I used to walk around aimlessly then I learned this technique and have had much better luck. I always tell others the same advice, find the environment, find the trees and the mushrooms will appear
Through knowledge, you progressed from "luck" to results.
I just discovered your channel, great videos!
For me, pine trees are on top of the list (maybe together with oaks). I think that some of the best mushrooms grow around them. I'm thinking of Lactarius Deliciosus, Lactarius Sangulfulus, Lactarius Salmonicolor and its relatives, as well as Cantharellus Lutescens.
I can't get over how much I'm in love with alll your vidoes! Your Information, your delivery, your videos, your content...I am just blewit away! :)
You are an inspiration to learn your land. I'm very far behind. I'm about to be camping soon and started learning mushrooms and I think I'm not going to be able to confidently pick any at this point. But I will at least hunt and learn while I am out and see what I can find. I'll stick with edible plants for this trip and just learn mushrooms while on the way. Thanks for your expertise. As I said, it is inspiring because it is clear you are passionate about this and that you've put the genuine work to teach others.
Hey Adam, love your videos, you have inspired me and after watching all your videos, hundreds of hours in the woods and building a mushroom library I find there is still so much to learn. It is apparent that your knowledge goes much deeper than many of these videos, how about you start an advanced mushroom series? Thanks again, from the whole family!
Hey Michael, thanks! And that's a great idea. Anything in particular you'd like to see in the advanced series?
