I always wanted Cupid to end up alone! I know it sounds a bit dark, and I do love her, but I also love the concept of a goddess whose job is to give everybody love, yet cannot find it herself, and she's doomed to forever live in the service of something that never favored her. Plus, the show portrays Cupid's love for Dexter a tad bit like a joke, or a silly crush, while Dexter's love for Raven is portrayed as genuine and sweet, so I was always rooting for the relationship that felt the most real.

Dang, like dang she organized a whole movement to throw a party in the name of love, slay queen.

I always thought it would've been interesting if Cupid was actually from EAH's world originally but her birth parents didn't want her to grow up in a world where relationships were predetermined (like how Daring and Apple allegedly were) and sent her to MH's world to learn how actual romantic relationships work. But instead we got a boring love triangle. 😑
Alas, I think they didn’t wrap up Cupid’s arc and the love triangle because they wanted to keep the story going as long as the doll line could keep going! It especially frustrated me when they would never wrap up Cerise’s arc! They just wanted to keep the characters in a state of constant tension because they really didn’t know when the doll line itself would end! It is frustrating!
I think it all boils down to some really scummy corporate executive meddling on Mattel's part that would eventually lead to the downfall of Ever After High as a whole, not just C.A. Cupid. Like they completely toned her down in order to make her more marketable or something. Like as though she didn't fit the EAH brand.
I wouldn't call it a love triangle. Its unrequited love. Dexter nor Raven showed any romantic interest in Cupid. (Which would be required to be a love triangle.)
I absolutely adore Cupid as a character, and tbh I really want to write a little concept, but it’d be so cool if she was still very monstrous even in the eah world, since the idea that she’s native to the MH world, o love the theory that she’s a Bone Elemental, her having to hide behind the facade of a sweet little cherub while knowing that the students of EAH would react adversely to her true nature, maybe sorta an opposite to the story of Psyche and Eros, where Psyche thought Eros was a monster until she saw his real face
But idk, both shows have different art styles, so I can’t really see them crossing into each other. Not that that stops shows since you can create the characters in the same style.
What I think is a wasted opportunity is that Cupid wasn’t in the Ever after high and Monster High crossover book and Maddie was allowed to reference Monster High but not Cupid.
Elsa both her designs in Ever After High and Monster High are both amazing and also I love the episode where Cupid decides that she's going to work on herself instead of trying to find someone else to fill the hole that Dexter left because she had a huge giant crush on him he didn't know and also didn't see her that way and I love how she eventually was able to decide that she doesn't need guys in her life she can just be single and be happy
Actually Cupid did not only appear in one episode and in why ghouls fall in love she also appeared in monster high scaris city of frights movie giving Clawd an advice and escape from skull shores movie when mistress bloodgood was telling her that she will have an A if she does all the homework I hope Cupid will appear in generation 3 bc she deserves more attention in monster high franchise 😩🤞🏻
I honestly feel like if Ever After High Ever does get a reboot I hope we get to focus more on Cupid as just Cupid because we didn't get some stuff like that like cupid assigned she's going to try and take a break from boys put we never really got to see that because it got canceled because the dolls decreasing in quality

Since Eros is her father, its kind of obvious her mom IS Psique. The mortal princess Eros married and turned into a goddess too. They have a daughter that is the goddess of happiness.

If possible, could you do an anime and manga review on Kyou Koi wo Hajimemasu also known as Today Our Love Begins, a 2008 shojo manga that is completed and it has two ova episodes that came in 2010, the music for the series is good, along with the character designs and art style. My problem with Kyou Koi wo Hajimemasu is the relationship between the two leads, Tsubaki Hibino(the female lead) and Kyouta Tsubaki(the male lead), although their relationship does get a bit better in the manga, how it started was horrible, especially on Kyouta's part( he reminded of Sata from Wolf Girl and Black Prince, another shojo series I did not enjoy). It also has a live-action movie Give this series a watch and a read if you want to, I hope in the future, Kyou Koi wo Hajimemasu will have a full anime adaptation that follows the manga because even though I didn't enjoy the series, I don't think those two episodes ova didn't do the manga justice. As for Maid Sama, season two should happen yet I feel that Misaki and Usui are red flags in my opinion. As always, thank you for your videos, they are amazing ^^
Cupid is one of those characters that I relate to because I'm also a little bubbly and sensitive also I feel really bad for her because true love is one of the things she dreams to find and her destiny is never to find it but help others find it it seems quite unfair to me that she has to endure such responsibility yes I did like Dexter and Raven's relationship but I also want to keep it to find someone that actually genuinely liked her and not getting stuck in a love triangle if ever after high actually dealt with her character more I feel like we could have seen more of cupid and her personality and her character to grow emotionally into actually finding other possibilities of love than just crushing over Dexter 😅
Can you do a character analysis on Cedar Wood and Cerise Hood. They are two characters I have come to love thanks to the Ever After High books. With Cedar a rebel who wants the results of her destiny and Cerise and her family being literal proof that one can create their own destiny

I would have loved to see a movie, or episode, dedicated to this character and her ability to cross between schools.
