    Thanks for this. The why’s and how’s are great. Assembling parts you get is one thing but getting them to work their best and giving tips on how to do it is another.

      @@DLUX_FAB_RCdoes it make a difference if your putting the preload cup on the shock cup or body?

    Great video clears up a lot of questions,what grit sand paper you use??
    Also can you explain the inner spacer tuning aswell...

      The spacer in the lower seal pack with the xseals?

    • @jammy_drift4069

      Sorry the spacer inside the body seen folk put 3mm in rear 6mm in front etc to limit travel

      That was 220 grit sandpaper. The other spacer you are referring to limits the shocks travel, effectively making it shorter.

    Great video! What model Wiha snap ring pliers are you using?

      It's on the dlux website. Great tool but C clips still suck lol

    Good video. I'm waiting for my new shock absorbers.
    I have not seen in this setup that you have placed an aluminum spacer of about 6mm length inside the shaft, between the bladder and the piston.
    Should I put it in my setup? In another video you say it is better.

      @phuzzit Před 3 měsíci +2

      With that spacer under the piston, it is to limit down travel. It's all personal preference and how you want the shock to work.

    • @merodio99
      @merodio99 Před 3 měsíci

      correct, but... the 96 shock absorber remains at 90 and both parts of the bladder are completely oiled at all times.

    • @phuzzit
      @phuzzit Před 3 měsíci +1

      @@merodio99 that would be a spacer between the shock body and lower spring cup, limiting up travel.
      You don't want a spacer on top of the piston- you never want the piston or anything to hit the shock cap bladder.

    I have seen some don't add that first small spacer, and just added the x ring, then white spacer, then x ring, and last translucent spacer. Is that fine or do you recommend adding that first thin spacer?

    • @phuzzit
      @phuzzit Před 3 měsíci

      It's all personal preference, as he said it's hard to explain the feel of a "good" set when building.
      But try with and without and feel the difference. I always tell people with bc most won't notice the difference and as you drive the rig, the seal pack will loosen up a tad.
