      Thank you.
      Cabin width and depth depends on shaft size, If you get the shaft size, you can calculate the cabin size easily. Will make a video for that in near future.

    Sir...if building floor is 11 but 7th floor till completed and rest is left due to TDR not come...so can we fit lift at 7th floor with MRL ...and kya after TDR 11wen done kya me lift ko Extend kr sakta hu in case of MRL

    • @AboutElevators
      @AboutElevators  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes you could do that, but it will cost you a bit higher than a 11 floor lift.
      In this case I'll suggest, Take a 7 floor lift and finalize the extension of other 4 floors at the same time, the reason is when you go for MOD of a existing lift the cost is more.

    • @AboutElevators
      @AboutElevators  Před 4 lety +1

      As per IS and NBC standards, you need to have 5 passenger lift minimum. But there are some 2-3 passenger lifts which you can see on internet. I don't think that need any particular shaft. Terry Lifts and likewise.

    Hello Brother, just now Subscribed to your Channel. Will you please tell me : For 40*60 Plot Size : G + 3 Story Building 6 persons lift- Pit Dimensions and Cost and Best Company to buy with minimum maintenance ( DIY ). Thank you. Sai Praveen Cinema. From Telugu States. India

    • @AboutElevators
      @AboutElevators  Před 4 lety +3

      You'll need shaft size of
      1. 1550x1550 mm for a Lift with Machine Room above (Pit-1500mm, Overhead 4200mm)
      2. 1600x1600 mm for Lift without machine room. (Pit-1550mm, Overhead 4000 to 4200 mm)
      Cost:
      Local Companies: raging from 5L to 6.5L
      Brands (Like thyssenkurpp, OTIS, KONE, Schindler): 7L to 8.5L
      If you go with brands, you'll not have to worry about the quality and service for lift.
      For getting a good maintenance cost, negotiate the cost for next 3 years at the time of lift finalization.
      PS: I can't recommend a brand specifically, but go for one of them who is giving a good price to you according to your budget.
      Hope this works for you, for any more info mail me at aboutelevators@gmail.com

    • @AboutElevators
      @AboutElevators  Před 3 lety +1

      Keep it 220 mm on all sides, for RCC Shaft. It did not vary, you can keep it same for floors upto 30 -35

      @@AboutElevators but its necessary to provide columns on side right? To support the shaft load? Instead of columns can we opt for 300mm thick wall?

    • @AboutElevators
      @AboutElevators  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes Columns on sides are important. Building load and not be distributed to the shaft normally. BTW this question could be well answered by a RCC Consultant, I'm good at elevators only.

      @@AboutElevators Thanks for your response.
      I see there are two ways of constructing an Elevator Shaft
      1. Four columns at corners and 9-inch brickwork on all 3 sides
      2. RCC (Concrete with reinforcement) wall of thickness 6 inches in all 3 sides
      As an Elevator expert, which one do you suggest for an independent house of 4 floors

    • @AboutElevators
      @AboutElevators  Před 3 lety +1

      @@chkranthi2521 Go for RCC only. Because anyway the money you save in doing brickwork you've to pay to while installing lift as in brick shaft you need to use Chemical fastener. And also stability of RCC shaft is comparatively more. any further info you could mail at aboutelevators@gmail.com

    • @AboutElevators
      @AboutElevators  Před 4 lety +1

      Hello,
      Consult them at the time of plinth and finalize the lift at the time of RCC completion.
      SO you get proper advice for shaft building and at RCC completion you need the GAD Drawings to complete the shaft.
