- Since ti's been a couple of weeks, I left the whole first segment intact, as we also had a crossover model (Rachel and Manuela were there, so I don't think anyone was sick...I guess just purely cross-promotion, speculate as you will) and one of those monthly non-car game for a car things.
Of course, the highlight is at 5:42. If someone else uploads just that and gets more views, that's fine...boy, I haven't laughed that hard from a Price thing in ages. - Zábava

Hans should have stopped at 25! She was at 13, guessed $20, and was -$12. He should have stopped instead of going over the edge. She wasn't over! She was off by 7, 6, and 12 respectively. That's exactly 25!
Well, the game is called Cliff Hangers. They took it literally this time.
@Tubewings I know you are saying that because of the much older Cliffhangers clip where the Hans falls off the cliff by mistake and Roger Dobkowitz blames the machine when he comes out to talk to Bob.
My understanding is that there is a crank that is turned to move a chain on which Hans is fastened. It was probably tricky to stop him exactly on the 25th step without him tipping over.

In regards to the description of your video about Tiffany appearing on the show, I don't know if you remember, but I remembered seeing Rachel as a guest model on the current LMAD once or twice before. I don't remember which one happened first, but I do remember seeing both. Either way, you're probably right about it possibly being a cross-promotion.
Cliffhangers would be the one game I would not want to play if i were on the Price Is Right. I would probably have very high anxiety.

Maybe they'll come up with a plasma screen with an animated Hans who breaks his fall with the pick axe if the player loses, but if not, when he stops after the third prize, he says, "You win!".

it was just as unreliable back then...there was an almost identical playing around 1980 or 81...where the mountain climber fell, but the winning bells sounded and roger came out to confirm the contestant had in fact won....

They didn't stop it fast enough. She had bid $20, and the price was $32, and Yodely Guy still had 12 steps to go, so it should have stopped at $25.
