- Part 1 Highlights. Patrick Rafter vs Hicham Arazi. One of the greatest ever first round encounters of the U.S Open tennis history. Arazi, a gifted lefthanded shot-maker, was for the most part, standing inside the baseline and taking
the ball on the rise while Rafter, the serve volleying king and defending champion was struggling to get any rhythm. Part 1 features highlights of a really classic match-up.
OLD TIMES THEY ARE NOT FORGOTTEN...
Great Pat,the last of serve and volley!(old school australian)
Arazi backhand will always be one of the smoothest things in tennis. His whole game was smooth.
Do you know that when he was young he had a two-handed backhand? I remember a match with him... that I lost. I was thinking "but how does he know where I'm going to play all the time" 😁
Arazi, a real magician.
I remember watching this match live. Total entertainment
we would like to see the end of this match, arazi was great talented tennis player at that era the players were more talented and levels were very close between the top 50 on the atp ranking
very glad that recently we have more and more videos of inaoui and arzi
Arazi makes you love tennis!
Fantastic job mate! Enjoyed a lot really... Arazi and Aynaoui were 2 players I liked a lot. Thanx man

pure talent..wow
3:36 who else can do that ? Not many!
5 th set please?
Arazi was outclassin Rafter till referee decided otherwise...
Arazi was robbed
I have the same feeling
why robbed, you mean he sucks?
錦織、プレースタイルがアラジと似ているね。
見ていて楽しい!
Ball was out. Unless Blind. Lol.
Wow Arazi so much talent and grace that very few have crazy how he didnt accomplish much with it. by the way referee is clearly an unjust racist.
two weak players lool that's a ping-pong not a tennis
Just be quiet,, i think that's the best thing you can do! Ever played tennis by the way??!?
"Weak players" ? Rafter went on to win the Open, won it again the next year and became #1 in the process ! No pro' is a "weak" player, not a chance.
Radu
Weak? Who has the courage to go to the net every single point in present times?
