- In this video I will show you the correct method for checking and adjusting the valve clearances on a 1990s Honda CG125. This procedure is similar for all OHV (Overhead Valve (Pushrod) Engines). I will also talk about the basic theory of a 4 stroke engine, how they work and why we need a valve clearance for optimum engine performance.

Thank you so much! Very well explained and appreciate no music so we can clearly hear you! Keep them coming as I have a dead engine and going to try and save it myself with zero knowledge other than what lovely people like you can teach me here on CZcams! 🙏🙏
It’s my pleasure, thank you for your lovely feedback! 😊 good luck with your engine repairs!

A nice tight sliding fit. Perfect turner a lot of folk get this gauge business completely wrong
Another good informative video! Small bikes are where its at - you could easily repair the CG with ease and low cost in most places around the globe. How about taking it for a Great British summer road trip adventure sometime? Would make a great video...
I love that idea! Let’s do it ❤️
Nice one mate plus a nice ride out
Cheers mate 😊
What a lovely passage from the bible
That’s my kinda Sunday church 👌🏼
Haha Sunday church at turners workshop. You’re always welcome 🤗
I don't have a filler gauge can I use something else to measure? Mine's are too tight.
Feeler gauges will be needed to get it spot on unless you have a vernier calliper and some shims of the right thickness
Could always put in a lighter flywheel for extra ✊🏻
That’s an idea 😍
