Adulthood- Annoying - yes but it’s very true.
Teachers don't 'ask' you to do the homework you're assigned, but they expect it to be done. Your job doesn't 'ask' you to be there on time, but they expect it to be done. The landlord or mortgage company doesn't 'ask' you to pay the rent/note every month, but they expect it to be done. If you're too slow at a certain age to recognize that things can be fixed in your own house, you deserve to get talked to like a child.
