Interesting that when this excellent video was shot, there was a diversion in place because a railway bridge in Whaley Bridge was being replaced and the usual route was closed. The bus would normally have turned right at 1:01:00 and rejoined today's route at 1:12:06.
Superb video, takes me back to the early 90’s when I travelled on the then Trans Peak service between Derby and Manchester, the section between Buxton and Stockport still looks familiar, although with a number of changes. See that the former Trent garage in Buxton is now an Aldi store.

The reason not many were sold was due to it being a rebadged Nissan Nivara most people wanted it to be a full Mercedes vehicle so were disappointed with it

12:14 Short lived Mercedes X class, I wonder if they will become more sought after as they get older given how many were built.

I may take this bus from the airport , is there generally space on board for bulky luggage? Or is there a compartment at the bottom to load it in
