      Actually they can't. Asus is doing there best but they just can't beat chinese. If they are lowering the cost they need to sell a really high volume. Asus m1 pro lost to note 5 pro. Now i dont think so they can do more than that.

    Two years ago I had a budget of just 8k and there was simply no phone that was giving better value for money than Realme 1, so I went with it. Even for that, I had to think about making it 9k because I had just 8k rupees. So, whatever he is saying is absolutely right.

      Even the JioFi devices fool us like this.. i recently bought a new jiofi for my online classes and I saw that it said it is 'designed in india' but when you open the lid and removed the battery, you can see they have printed this in very small letters 'made in china'. This is how great brands are fooling people. We might think they are genuinely Indian just by looking at the cover but the secret is hidden deep inside

      @@deepbanerjee4290 ofcourse not, that's why nobody buys lava micromax phones. When Moto E came and set a trend of software updates, none of the indian companies thought that it is necessary. Micromax only provided one phone with software update just to compete with Moto E. If companies say like Lava or Karbonn could simply start providing specification good enough at a competitive price and dropping those crappy UI and going for a plain UI like those of Android One, things may change in coming days.

      Some people are forced to buy chinese phones due to their budget issues
      So he makes videos for them being a review channel
      If you don't like it, don't buy it, you cannot control what others need

      They have made a lot of improvement in respect with M series and A series as compared to their earlier mid range phones.

      I am using Samsung ..and my brother uses a Xiomi ..mine cost more than twice the amount of his... and it dont even have half specs which his phone have ..even it is made India it is not for an average indian.. it is very bad feeling you pay nearly 50k and dont even have a snapdragon

    Absolutely correct. I bought Realme XT last year not because I really wanted it but because I had no other options to buy. I always think that why a country of a size like India which by the way is famous for its technical capabilities can't have a single stable phone manufacturing company. If I had an option, any non Chinese brand offering me specs that I have in my XT at this price I would have brought it without even thinking twice.
    I love my country and I'm proud to be an Indian...

Its the software skins, ads, bloatware etc altogether that makes mi, oppo, oneplus etc unsafe to use. Nokia is one of the safest one to use since it has adopted android one. Pure android phones are always the best and safest.

    Yes the advertisement coming in notifications and even on apps folders in my mother's Redmi Note 8 Pro is so irritating. Some applications are installed unknowingly by mom. Had to delete them told her not to click on ads. Am not buying any such phones from now on.

      All the ads can be turned off .
      The ones in notification are from their own app store (GetApps) . Just block the notification for Getapps .
      In apps folder , when you rename the folder, there is an option for "Recommend content" . Turn that off . It just takes maximum 15 minutes to turn off all such ads . Music and Mi video shows ads....block notification for Mi video too .
      That Simple it is !

    Inspite of being in market for years, Indian manufacturers like Micromax, Lava etc. can't create robust R&D capabilities in India, and literally surrender to Chinese Brands..
    If we need to reduce our dependence on China for smartphone components, we need private sector R&D efforts, and hopefully our government is doing that .

    Well said Ranjit sir. I always see municipality workers, auto drivers, labours, swiggy and zomato guys mostly having old Oppo and Redmi phones. Most of them with cracked screens and some damage. It's just because they cannot afford new phones even if they are around 10k and I always respect them because they work hard always and cannot afford premium phones.
    Even I used to have Lenovo Vibe series in 2017 when I had a tight budget. I really used to feel sad that my phone was so sluggish and others had great phones at that time like Samsung note series and OnePlus, iPhones and Huawei Mate series.
    I worked hard, became a classroom and online IELTS trainer, earned from my side and purchased OnePlus 7T just a week back and all I can say is we must not look look down upon anyone because we don't know what they are going through 😔

      I know but the even sadder part is when the municipality workers, auto drivers, labours, Swiggy and Zomato guys who use these phones one day their whole information will be hacked and erased by the Chinese what will they do then it makes me feel sad
      P.S- We can't trust China they can do attack anything anytime so we need to be aware of this too

      Also he was talking about other blue collar/ labour jobs where they can't afford a phone with higher price and lower features.

    Aur mobiles pe to theek hai GST pay kar diya. Par maine battery change karvane diya to Battery aur Sub Board dono replace karvana pada. Dono pe 28% & 18% GST. Chalo woh bhi theek hai. Par even Service cost ₹423 nikla aur uspe bhi 18% GST 😨 Matlab ki mujhe ₹1107 ke parts roughly ₹1900 me pade 😭
    Dukh ki baat ye hai ki me Berozgar hu !

    I am a Samsung user and I personally think that chinese brands offers a lot more in the midrange segment than samsung,lg. Lg is out of the league and Samsung is only left. Those who r telling anti china things I urge them to suggest a non Chinese phone to me or to others who have a tight budget, otherwise shut ur mouth.

      @@rohitrockzz6139 i have been using all my banking and payment related stuff like HDFC, Kotak, SBI, CBI, GPay, Paytm and done transaction of million rupees but never get any issue with that, it depends on you how you exactly think, if hardware is from CHINA then fine but don't accept if software is from there. Because IPHONE and major companies using Chinese hardware...

      @@Muanpuiatlau97 it's just having a 3000mah battery but remember G7 got released in 2018 where we didn't had much mobiles with 4000+mah capacity batteries. But in my personal opinion, if you play much games like pubg battery will drain quickly but it can handle it efficiently. For me, I have a lot to do with this mobile like photography, watching HDR content, music with quaddac support and lot more.

      He must be black marketing the Imei , The service center man (personally), so that the phones which are stolen get a new Imei and cant be traced.

    I also had the same opinion that if I have to buy a new smartphone then what alternative do I have to replace a Chinese Smartphone.
    There is only one good replacement for chinese smartphones that is Samsung but they are too expensive and not worth too.
    Fro a a person like me I like to buy a gaming smartphone and I am pretty sure that Samsung smartphone can not be used for Gaming.
