This match is one of many examples that wrestling can be anything, wrestling isn't all just five star matches, it's about entertaining the audience and fans at home, and sometimes people need matches like these, creative, funny, and nostalgic to some people, I'm sure this is 5 stars to many people
WELP...🤷♂️ "THANK GOD WE DON'T HAVE TO SEE THE RANDOM BS AGAIN" Right? It was the most cringiest PG era 💩 they EVER did. and ALOT OF YALL will just agree with ANY decision they make like "It makes sense because 🤓" 🤦♂️😂😂😂
As different as the match was, I thought this was one of the most fun I’ve seen in a match and you could see how much creativity Bray had with his material. RIP Bray Wyatt!
@@radicalstanza3614 Cena likely wrote it with Bray Wyatt. When superstars figure out how their match goes, they communicate it with each other and mutually decide on spots. Cena admitted in this interview he didn't even know what a Funhouse Match was. The only way he could really sell it is by writing the match with the guy whose gimmick it is.
They actually do. It's been on record proving that they have a ton of their old set displays and even some WCW display sets in their warehouse. They also have legendary wrestling gear and titles stored there.
Yeah if you watch CZcams you can find a video of them doing a tour around the warehouse and you can still see the fist and it's actually a mould of the big shows fist by the way
When Wrestlemania 2020 came around, I was in isolation because of covid, couldn't be around anyone and felt miserable. When this came on though, for 15 minutes I forgot about everything else and stood in my room in awe. That's why I'll always love this match, Bray (RIP) and Cena
That was one of the most refreshing things I've seen in wrestling in a long time. It really felt like it wasn't for your traditional audience but at the same time it was for all the long-term fans and people who look deeper into things.
Windham’s death was one of the most shocking. I still can’t believe he’s gone. He brought me back into wrestling after barely watching since the Attitude Era. RIP Windham Rotunda
I’m one of those guys who never got Bray Wyatt, but the FFH match was the closest I came to liking his stuff. Now that he’s gone, I’m kind of on a Bray renaissance and I’m seeing IT, now. RIP ✊🏻
"IT'S SUCH GOOD SH**!" - Mr. McBoss...😆 I remember being over at my neighbors' house watching WM & this match on PPV, and we were just laughing and saying "WTF???" during the whole course of the match! 😂 The cinematic aesthetic (much like Taker's "Boneyard Match" vs AJ Styles on that same card) was a clever touch, being that they didnt have a live audience there in attendance during COVID! I hope they do more similar-style cinematic matches somewhere down the line, just to see how a live audience reacts to it! (I felt they should've done one @ last year's WM in Hollywood...) RIP Bray!☝️You were a one-in-a-million talent! "THAT'S RIGHT, BIG DADDY!!" 😁
I haven’t seen the match, but I honestly think what they did was better than if they had an actual match. They had that match at WM 30. This was something so creative and different.
Shows the intelligence Cena has for the business tbh, made the best of a bad situation and took the opportunity to let Windham’s creative genius loose and it couldn’t have been better, we all miss you Windham
Unlike The Rock who left for years! John Cena has had match every single year since 2002! Thank you to writer strike last year to give us back John Cena! Please do another one?
This match was absolute perfection. Between this and his work with AJ - they are both slept on classics. Cena is one of those guys that’s sorely missed after he left.
That was the greatest match in my opinion for cena and Bray Wyatt they fixed the WrestleMania 30 mess up they did and they made a great amazing match 😀
Man I really hope Cena is in the Bray Wyatt documentary… this match was so cool, I wanna see him really dive into this match, maybe even show that first draft
Brays creative mind for wrestling only comes once in a lifetime. This man was every bit as dedicated to his character as the undertaker and every bit as good as tweaking and adding layers to it and even reinventing it as Jericho. Maybe even moreso. RIP Bray.
I still love that Eddie Guerrero promo along with Bray Wyatt’s promo. Rightfully occupying the two top spots on this list. Both who tragically passed away very young in their mid-30s’ that were so impactful and still impact us to this day. R.I.P. Eddie Guerrero and Bray Wyatt.😢
Was definitely a unique match and concept. Most likely won't see anything like it again. For the times and circumstances it was a great way to do a match, and tell a story.
Reminds me of episode 5 of Life is Strange.. well the “this is your life” segment of that episode. The concept and execution was so fun…. For a moment, you forgot that we were watching a wrestling show with the world in a spiral
If the was a plain old fist swinging with super moves type of match it would not have been entertaining. But the fact that these two put on an entertaining, story packed, nostalgic, Funfest makes it a 5 star classic. The fiends legacy could have definitely been this match stipulation. Can you imagine HHH, Shawn, GOLDBERG! going through this. The fiend showing all the negative past actions of superstars than finishing them. My god imagine The Rock or even Vince being taken down this path. The had lighting in a bottle here. Big ups to both Bray and Cena.
Bray was a legend. Cena, Alexa Bliss, LA Knight and even teaming with Jeff Hardy; Bray brought out the best in people and storyline even if the storylines weren't always great
This match gave me a deep respect for John. He put over Bray huge and he endured a brutal onscreen comeuppance. That was the moment I knew he was in it for life with the rest of us, and not coming back Hogan style to put himself over again, brother.
We don't need to be Nostradamus to see that John Cena was going to bury Bray Wyatt a third time. First time was after the Wyatt Family beat The Shield and Cena just never gave Bray a singles win by pin or submission. Only by Bray leaving the cage by outside interference by a child. 2nd time was after Chris Jericho tried to save his heel heat, Cena beat him again and put salt in the wound by throwing him in a mud bath.
This match is one of many examples that wrestling can be anything, wrestling isn't all just five star matches, it's about entertaining the audience and fans at home, and sometimes people need matches like these, creative, funny, and nostalgic to some people, I'm sure this is 5 stars to many people
Absolutely
Most definitely
Five stars or "five stars" matches
It’s my favourite match of all time, absolute five star classic for me that truly shows wrestling can be anything
It's storytelling and entertainment. People tend to forget that and take it too seriously.
Sad to think they’ll never be another match like this ,imagine how amazing it would be to have another stars in a firefly funhouse match , R.I.P Bray
Randy Orton certainly would have been great in a Firefly Funhouse match.
"they'll" 😂 there will never be.
How about no? The original creator was overrated. Let this garbage go away
It was such garbage
WELP...🤷♂️ "THANK GOD WE DON'T HAVE TO SEE THE RANDOM BS AGAIN" Right? It was the most cringiest PG era 💩 they EVER did. and ALOT OF YALL will just agree with ANY decision they make like "It makes sense because 🤓" 🤦♂️😂😂😂

Cena literally says he wrote the match here lol
Cena wrote the match, wyatt wrote literally EVERYTHING surrounding it@@radicalstanza3614

@@radicalstanza3614are you 90 percent retarded?
You're telling me they have the Smackdown fist just laying around in some warehouse underused? Bring that back!!
They actually do. It's been on record proving that they have a ton of their old set displays and even some WCW display sets in their warehouse. They also have legendary wrestling gear and titles stored there.
Yeah if you watch CZcams you can find a video of them doing a tour around the warehouse and you can still see the fist and it's actually a mould of the big shows fist by the way
They have everything from chairs kendo sticks to props they recently made a show collecting different things from wrestlers to make a museum
Yes there is a wwe warehouse full of items. Watch WWE Treasures
The reason they don't use it anymore was because of how heavy it was to move around and set up

R.I.P Bray Wyatt. One of the most creative, intense and unique Professional Wrestlers of all time.
He was a complete badass
@@Karl671 Agreed.
Stone cold: Bray Wyatt
Undertaker: future
He wrote that match, wow John Cena 😊
And no one better to make it work than with Bray Wyatt ❤😊 R.I.P
He and bray together
Same Wrestlemania, where it was Undertaker and AJ Syles in a boneyard match. Undertaker's last match 😢
When AJ took that matter personal to undertaker, and that is the return of the american badass
The Brother of Destruction vs DX for oil money was before that one?

Favourite match of WM36 and of these two in particular. I felt like it was made for me it’s a work of art, pure cinema.
It was such a creative idea to mesh both character and real life person into a entertaining "match"
This match was such a hail maryyyy. And mannn, did it fukin work perfectly. It was golddddd!
This match and the Jeff Hardy Vs Sheamus in the Pub Bar are still two of my recent favorite WWE matches
This damn match... it was like a fever dream mixed with an acid trip. And I watched it multiple times with the eyes of a child. Loved it
I loved this match. Rest in peace Bray❤
Cinematic matches can be awesome. Bray vs Orton at the Wyatt Compound, Undertaker vs AJ Styles and this
I miss the big fist
Bray Wyatt is my absolute favorite.
That was one of the most refreshing things I've seen in wrestling in a long time. It really felt like it wasn't for your traditional audience but at the same time it was for all the long-term fans and people who look deeper into things.
Listening to Cena is inspirational
That was such an entertaining Match.
Windham’s death was one of the most shocking. I still can’t believe he’s gone. He brought me back into wrestling after barely watching since the Attitude Era. RIP Windham Rotunda
I just learned about this match while playing the wwe 2k24 showcase, and I absolutely loved it. It was both intriguing and entertaining.
New fan?
RIP Bray Wyatt!
I’m one of those guys who never got Bray Wyatt, but the FFH match was the closest I came to liking his stuff. Now that he’s gone, I’m kind of on a Bray renaissance and I’m seeing IT, now. RIP ✊🏻
Bro you missed out.. go watch Bray v Daniel Bryan Royal Rumble 2014
Bray v Orton WrestleMania 2017
Bray v Roman 2014
Wyatt Family v The Shield 2013
I need a behind the scenes of this
Bray Wyatt documentary on Peacock had a nice segment revolving this match.

The two cinematic matches were the best matches of the weekend. This and the Boneyard match between Taker and Styles were both great.
Bray vs cena will forever be my favorite fued R.I.P bray❤️🙏🏾🙏🏾

One of my favorite matches if i can call it that, shit felt like theatre i loved it
This was EPIC and perfect!

This is not something that can or should be done often, but as a one time thing it was amazing. This and the boneyard match.
Bray was a true innovator
I really wish they had an event once a month, were they try stuff like this
To me this is the best wrestling match ever
Amazing match i was losing my shit watching it.
exploring the potential of story telling in Pro Wrestling
This match was absolute perfection. Between this and his work with AJ - they are both slept on classics. Cena is one of those guys that’s sorely missed after he left.
That and the AJ Taker match were my favorite moments from the Covid era. Like they made art out of their characters.
The Firefly Funhouse Match is one of my all time favorite matches.
The one thing of many that Vince fuck up with he had a second undertaker
That was the greatest match in my opinion for cena and Bray Wyatt they fixed the WrestleMania 30 mess up they did and they made a great amazing match 😀
They fixed nothing and the so called match was boring as shit that only entertained simple minded turds.
Bray did so well to see him during this match
By far the greatest match of the thunder dome Era and that mania
I got this match was so good R.I.P bray and my respect for both men for making a classic match

"Control the controllable" man, those words resonated with me, and they are very true. I've applied that mentality, and it actually works.
This is a unique setting this is interview is taking place at. R.I.P. Bray Wyatt.😢
It was honestly the best Cena match ever
I wish they did more cinematic style matches. They were fun and highly enjoyable.
I’ve just started picking it back up full time but bruh like flashes through his whole career ? That’s sweet
That match stole the show that night by a mile

That match was awesome! Very unique.
The coolest father was Mike rotundo Bray Wyatt was a master of disguises
Miss u, Bray
Wasn’t a huge fan of the match, but it was worth it seeing Cena in nWo colors. What the Cena heel turn could have looked like.
wyatt and cena were geniuses together
Awesome
Reminds me of episode 5 of Life is Strange.. well the “this is your life” segment of that episode. The concept and execution was so fun…. For a moment, you forgot that we were watching a wrestling show with the world in a spiral
This is way better than any heatless workrate banger.
Honestly it was the best match on the card and it was an amazing throwback
That was the most creative thing to have happened at that time.
Cena the GOAT ❤
Greatest match in wrestle mania history
Lol yeah, That was a good moment, RIP Bray
I miss you Bray
I’d love to see that original draft RIP bray
One of the best things of the Thunderdome
Wow. This short has got me.
That handwritten draft needs to be in the Hall of Fame when they decide to build a physical museum
R.I.P. Bray Wyatt.😢
This match would of been amazing in every way possible
It was fun playing this on 2k24 showcase

Still so happy cena dropped the wwe title to him for his first big win
Is John Cena in recovery? I notice he quotes the big book a lot from AA
Nah he's a literal workaholic and his relationship with Nikki made him take a introspective look at himself
What quotes are those?
This match means so much to Cena because this represents the what couldve been of his career..
He’s a smart guy. Always respected Cena
Bray was a legend.
Cena, Alexa Bliss, LA Knight and even teaming with Jeff Hardy; Bray brought out the best in people and storyline even if the storylines weren't always great

Fuck a five start flippy match, this is wrestling at its peak
And I fought who wrote was bray Wyatt.
That match was awesome
This was basically Silent hill for John cena
"Bray was such a genius he let me write the whole thing."
- John Cena
Brilliant match...
Just Brilliant...
This is the only match i watched in about 20 years. I was blown away. And now i have a new level of respect for Cena knowing he wrote it.
We need to see that original draft
