Personally I think silverfish are pretty useless only finding them in strongholds being an inconvenience. I am aware that they can help find the portal room, their useless besides that. I rest my case.
In conclusion... Bats are still the most useless. They may still have a use, yes, but that use is very small, and is less than all other mobs. Also, were fireflies to be added, you'd get froglights from feeding them to frogs. So even if fireflies WERE added, they wouldn't be the most useless.
quite sure they were just suppost to be an ambience mob that the frogs used as sustenance, since they were litearly particles, theres no ay to intercat whit them unless they add a way to capture them in a bottle or something
Bats are extremely useful now in 1.19. They can show where sculk sensors are. Also, when a bat sets off a sculk sensor, there's a short moment when you can make a sound without being detected. Same when the bat is heard by the warden. The bat can also lead the warden away from you. And even if it's near you and leads the warden to you, you can run away and not be heard by the warden. The bat has saved me from the warden multiple times. In conclusion... bats are extremely useful. EDIT: Also, a bat CANNOT summon the warden. A lot of people seem to think it can.
@@dukapo6482 ANY mob can show where shriekers are. And bats are super hard to control, so they’re a bad choice for this job! A PIG would do this job waaay better. Again, the same is true of any mob The warden ignores bats completely! The bay is entirely USELESS when trying to lead the warden away from you! Wardens are unable to get angry at bats at all. Now, you are indeed correct in that a mob can be used to do a few of those things (except for angering the warden). HOWEVER. There is another mob that can do warden distracting WAAAY better than the bat. A snow golem! You can build an entire snow golem and it only counts as a single vibration. Then, the snow golem AUTOMATICALLY ATTACKS the warden! So you can just run away and be fine! Plus, carrying around a snow golem is WAY easier than carrying around a bat! Does the bat have some uses? Yes. But those uses are few and far between, AND the bat does a worse job at those uses than other mobs!
@@gaminggeckos4388 You don't need to control the bat- just stay near it and you're pretty much guaranteed to be safe from wardens. And how are you going to get a pig into the deep dark? Also, pigs are too slow and will stay in just one area, while bats will fly around, showing where sculk sensors are and distracting the warden from you.
@@dukapo6482 Bats are still way too hard to transport and control to be useful. Snow golems do this job WAY better. And if you’re just relying on a bat randomly being there, you can do the same with any hostile mob. Plus the Deep Dark isn’t even all that dangerous anyways
Nuisances are a type of village that were green that you can't trade with and won't take a profession. You can't kill them though as it will get the iron golem on you and lower villager reputation.
Even if fireflies were added to the game, they would still be a cheap source for one of the few level 15 light sources in the game (and without even have to go to the nether) making them more useful than most of the late mobs in the video.
I think it's the parrot, it literally just sits there, it does give you feathers if you kill it, but chickens give feathers and food, so that can count if you want
Zombie horses are probably the most useless sense you can’t even use them in vanilla survival and they’re just a menial horse re-skin. Also, uses for other mobs: Pufferfish are important to red stone as proximity detectors Skeleton horses do not drown and therefore are a fun way to cross oceans. Also cool. Squids have ink sacs, which can be used in villager trading abuse with librarians. Tropical fish can also be used in villager trades with fishermen Bats… can’t think of a use for them other than ambience lmao.
Objection! Whilst the rules state that mobs must not have drops, I would propose the glow squid as the most useless mob. It does nothing but look "neat" despite being just a reskin of the much more useful squid, can't help indicate caves like bats since they can only survive in water, and you'll know if you're in a cave or not if you can see water. It Doesn't help provide much ambiance for caves, ruining the dim lighting, and it's drops only serve the deco purpose of providing glowing text or item frames which don't even emit light, meaning that if you want to be safe while in the area you put the sign or frame it's going to be bright already.
imo Silverfish are the most useless. Their most consistent place of spawning is the End portal and that's with a spawner which is easily destroyed. They can also spawn underground randomly in trap blocks, but those are very rare and don't even indicate an stronghold nearby. And it's just easier to use Eyes of Ender to find those. Plus, they have no drops aside from XP, same as bats.
I was honestly really hoping they would mention the zombie horse, because I’m pretty sure it got removed at some point and could only spawn with creative mode.
*HOLD IT!* There was no discussion about skeletons as a candidate, as it is stupidly obvious. Why did you even try to bring it up? Same with wolves. And yes, it is wolves, not dogs.
Objection! Fire flys spawn in swamps making them a unique mob! The are also beneficial to the atmosphere built around the games! Snow golems are the most useless because all they do is throw snowballs that don’t do damage! They also take more to make than they drop!
Cheetahs are the most useless mobs in minecraft. But ever since stray cats were added. Long ago they were able to be tamed to make cats. Now they don't. They don't drop anything. They aren't used for anything. They are a husk of a former mob. Only kept in the game for no good reason.
No you're wrong! I play minecraft in the x360 It is in 1.13, which is old and probably doesn't have stray cats therefore, your argument is invalid because it assumes that the user is using the most recent version of minecraft the most useless mob is i think the silverfish

The answer is polar bears, they only drop fish, but if you want fish, you can go fishing or kill fish. They also are not auto hostile to you making them even more useless. When they added pandas, at least they made a version sneeze slimeballs making them useable for farms, polar bears have no use even in farms. I believe they don't even drop XP! The only farm I've seen is this one: czcams.com/video/dHnglybofX4/video.html , but it is very impractical.
the zombie horse has no drops, cant be riden and doesnt spawn naturally giving it literally no use at all, theres also the giant which has no ai so it does nothing.
Aside for flexing your victory over a horse trap, skeleton horses can also travel underwater. Pair it with a breathing potion for you to get a very epic ride.
Bats are still the most useless because you can likely hear hostile mobs in the same cave and in fact is negatively useful by occasionally body blocking your attacks. the only remotely useful thing I’ve seen bats do is distract a warden but it was after i had run away to safety where it cannot detect me. although i think by constantly aggroing it, the bat prolonged the warden being out and about so it wouldn’t dig back down and despawn.

the bat IS the most useless mob in the game, because it can randomly fly right in front of you when you're mining, not only halting your progress, but also taking away durability from your pickaxe
Well in that case Fireflys indicate you're on the overworld, a place many people want to go when they're lost in a cave and you can live in a cave or overworld and both are valid, a cave allows easier mining the overworld has the rest but mining is extravagantly important They're equally useless but fireflys glow so they're almost inherently cooler than bats, and bats can be annoying with their screeches And you can bring fireflys down into the ground and they'll be like mob torches, would be annoying to do but so are Redstone contraptions The warden is a cheap quasi-boss that spawns instead of being summoned or located(ender dragon/portal) just because you do a natural thing like making sound and it drops an arbitrary reward (plus again the 500 hp thing) its like an evil mary sue

Fun fact: skeleton horses can be ridden without a saddle. Which means you don’t have to go through the hassle of going to a dangerous abandoned mine shaft or the nether fortresses. But I think people will know this.
Bats are only useful if you're playing on peaceful mode, since the sounds the hostile mobs make are louder than the bats'.
The answer is bats, you can't tame
, they are weak, they don't fight back, you can't trade, ride, or even befriend them, they are the most useless mob in the game thus far
OBJECTION!
It is in fact, no. Bats can make a sound of squeaking that indicates you're close to any cave in minecraft. It is useful if you trying to mine straight.
@@DowuxHOLD IT the answer is the most useless bats may have a small purpose but any other mobs have more purpose tell me one other mob that is more useless then bats
@@Bacon2000. silverfish for me, it did drop exp but it didn't really useful
@@Dowux they do have a use plus in adventure packs (or whatever there called ) they can be useful
OBJECTION glow squid are the most useless. it literally exists in the game because of trolls and has one of the worst drops in the game
Again, the same is true of any mob
The warden ignores bats completely!
They’re actually called Nitwits, they’re stupid not actively a jerk.

Also, uses for other mobs:
Pufferfish are important to red stone as proximity detectors
Skeleton horses do not drown and therefore are a fun way to cross oceans. Also cool.
Squids have ink sacs, which can be used in villager trading abuse with librarians.
Tropical fish can also be used in villager trades with fishermen
Bats… can’t think of a use for them other than ambience lmao.
Does the giant count because it's literally a bigger zombie with no ai or drops
@@dando541 / Yea but giants are at least somewhat cool, even if entirely redundant.

3:24 It's way simpler to just turn on subtitles and track down the bat that you can't hear but subtitles for some reason picked up...
Glow tint make bright maps so you dont have to put torches on them.
- captain sparklez
the regular squid does nothing + you can get ink sacs from fishing
2:21 slam,slam slam.
Wtf
3:02 hmmmm
3:16 the bass in the back
imo Silverfish are the most useless.
1:31 And you can get pufferfish as an item as that was the only way to get them before fish became tangible mobs.
I’m addicted to these videos.😂
I was honestly really hoping they would mention the zombie horse, because I’m pretty sure it got removed at some point and could only spawn with creative mode.
the zombie horse was never added into survival mode
Ur objection videos are fire
Objection, skeleton horses can breath underwater and can be ridden underwater making it useful for travel across lakes in the way
Skeletons can drop bones and there bow if they have one you can use to bone to tame a dog and the dog can help you against mobs so
*HOLD IT!* There was no discussion about skeletons as a candidate, as it is stupidly obvious. Why did you even try to bring it up? Same with wolves. And yes, it is wolves, not dogs.

But ever since stray cats were added.
Long ago they were able to be tamed to make cats.

The most useless mob is the phantom. They are annoying and actively take away from the game experience. You used to be able to repair elytras with leather but now you have to kill annoying mobs that take forever to spawn. And the worst part is that WE are the reason that it is in the game, WE made the game worse. In conclusion, Phantom suk.
Phantom membranes are the only way to repair elytras
@@coleminer8847phantom tears need to be applied in the anvil and that has limited uses and costs levels. once you get mending you get to keep your elytra forever
Useless mob: Phantom
Reason: It's only purpose is to literally punish and be an annoyance to players for not sleeping, aside from dropping its membranes for repairing elytras, which can easily be solved by giving it the Mending enchantment, it's literally never going to be encountered if you frequently sleep to skip the night, and if you don't sleep due to a building project it can fuck you over while building if you were at a high spot, leading you to either dying and losing every shit you have or you surviving with water bucket, but have to climb all the way back to where you initially were

Minecraft Warden :

THE MOST USELESS MOB IS STEVE! HE DROPS NO XP AND NO ITEMS

Those villagers that have no trades are the most useless, they do nothing and drop nothing
0:45 Wrong Background of Objection
I know this is gonna sound insane but I want mojang to update minecraft's old mobs. So lets say vote for zombie, skeleton, cow and the winner will be added first. So the cow would obviously get more uses. Better AI stuff like that but also more uses to leather, milk and possibly new cow variants. Like the highland cow. I really wanna see something like this, as it wouldn't change the mob entirely but rather make it even better! Plssss
the Giant has no AI and no way to be encountered without commands and not even an original design, that's my verdict
OBJECTION!
The fireflies didnt get added to the game because it was poisonous for frogs so therefore its not a part of the game.
Damn. He done pulled out a 2 PIXEL MOB. F*clings amazing.
Zombie horses: stupid bloody horse doesnt even exist naturally
The answer is polar bears, they only drop fish, but if you want fish, you can go fishing or kill fish. They also are not auto hostile to you making them even more useless. When they added pandas, at least they made a version sneeze slimeballs making them useable for farms, polar bears have no use even in farms. I believe they don't even drop XP! The only farm I've seen is this one: czcams.com/video/dHnglybofX4/video.html , but it is very impractical.

Ocelots are the most useless. They drop nothing and only spawn in Jungles, one of the rarest biomes. You probably even forgot it existed.

the zombie horse has no drops, cant be riden and doesnt spawn naturally giving it literally no use at all, theres also the giant which has no ai so it does nothing.

-do drop an item but a pretty useless one
-annoying
-doesn't even count to the "monsters hunted" achievement

Lol godot was just freaking having 96 heat attack from that coffee he was drinking
Aside for flexing your victory over a horse trap, skeleton horses can also travel underwater. Pair it with a breathing potion for you to get a very epic ride.
They (and by extension their rider) also don't get targeted by withers.
I am very surprised no one mentioned Silverfish. They are literally just there to be annoying.
Somebody has to restrain Godot. Man's drinking way too much coffee. Chill bro.
So the fact that fireflies were never added.... the most useless mob is the Ocelot!

I think is green suit villagers, they don't drop anything, they don't adopt jobs and you can't trade with them.

_I'll do what's right_
_I'll engage in a fight_
_And send it to the light_
Argument with math: ZZz
Argument with Minecraft:
"Copper golems are the most useless mob"
"Copper Golems aren't in the game"
"Fireflies are the most useless mob."
I think the debate should have been about passive mobs that spawn naturally since hostile mobs are part of the "Monster Hunted" Achievement. And since fireflies aren't in the game, I think the nitwit villager is the most useless mob. You can't change its profession or trade with it.
Objection! You can make it a zombie and cure it for achievement or breed for useful villagers
-Skellie horses can be ridden underwater
-Sorry there are no fireflies in the game you dug your own grave
-bats useless, can't indicate caves USE YOUR EYES caves can be seen easily in the new update
-Tropical fish useless, you argue it can be use for decoration well ALL MOBS can be used for decoration and that beats the point of distinguishing the most useless mob
-Silverfish does nothing, stil it drops xp and technically guards the end portal(it can't reliably tell you your near a stronghold they can generate without them)
-Baby piglins picks up your gold and deletes it, it drops gold(you prevent these guys from spawning in a gold farm for more drops and doesn't activate ziglin agro still disagree is not useless then)
-unfinished mobs can and can't be counted since their unfinished
Mojang: *I agree*
(deletes fireflies)
Just wait untill phoenix wright realizes that fireflies arent ingame
the bat IS the most useless mob in the game, because it can randomly fly right in front of you when you're mining, not only halting your progress, but also taking away durability from your pickaxe
Next, do which mob is the scariest!
I think its the Elder Guardian
Well in that case Fireflys indicate you're on the overworld, a place many people want to go when they're lost in a cave and you can live in a cave or overworld and both are valid, a cave allows easier mining the overworld has the rest but mining is extravagantly important
They're equally useless but fireflys glow so they're almost inherently cooler than bats, and bats can be annoying with their screeches
And you can bring fireflys down into the ground and they'll be like mob torches, would be annoying to do but so are Redstone contraptions
The warden is a cheap quasi-boss that spawns instead of being summoned or located(ender dragon/portal) just because you do a natural thing like making sound and it drops an arbitrary reward (plus again the 500 hp thing) its like an evil mary sue
Even if the firefly existed, the bat would still be the most useless. Fireflies would’ve been used to breed frogs.
OBJECTION:its those magician vindicator ppl thingy. No one even remembers them and you cant find one without cheats and they have no drops making them useless boss fights.
The silverfish.
-Drops exp but useless
-does not have any interaction with other mobs
-cannot be used to locate structures that contains silverfishes (igloo or stronghold) because: they also appear in classic stone; and you'd first see the stone bricks than the infected stone block.
