I am touch by your message, I was even crying. Since a kid I have a close heart, I am struggeling to open myself and become vulnarable again. I was bullied and put down by everybody, I though I am not worth of love. I studied psychology and read a lot, and went the workshops, I became so analitical, which was good. In this case, I feel like sitting on a park bench by a warm evening. the wind gently caresses my face, and everything is silent except for the nature around me. It is interesting that I mention that it evokes the silence when I speak of this kind of music ..

We are so lucky to be able to listen to the music of past geniuses, Vivaldi, Rachmaninoff, Bach, Abinoni, Mozart, Shostakovich, Mascagni, Puccini....and many more. Today we have, Barry, Marianelli, Djawadi, Jablonsky, Kloser, Newman, Webber, Shore and many more and the master that is...Zimmer.
We are so, so lucky to have lived through the 20th & into the 21st century. So lucky to have been able to listen to the greatest music man has ever created over the centuries and now modern day. So lucky to be able to listen to the finest and most beautiful voices...male and female....first on the humble gramophone, right through to this digital age.
Voices such as the indomitable Pavarotti, Carreras, Domingo, Boccelli, to the modern day crooners of Safina, Sinatra, Martin, Buble and so on.
As for the women, there are a multitude of gifted voices alongside great beauty...
Kiri Te Kanawa (listen to her on the soundtrack of the movie, A Room with a View)..exquisite.
Isabel Bayrakdarian, vocals on Lord of The Rings, Howard Shore composer "Evenstar"....or listen to her sing an ancient Armenian song, "Chinar Es" (You are a plane tree) composer Komitas...also exquisite.
Then you have the amazing Azam Ali, vocals on the movie 300.

Because my sister is deaf, from birth....and if I could have one wish, just one wish. It would be for her to hear. If it were possible, I would gladly exchange my hearing and give it to my sister. I have been blessed with gift of hearing and even now as I type...I can hear all this wonderous music in my head.

Some of you must know that my Dad is a struggling talented drug addict and some-days its very hard having to deal with his episodes especially when I reach out to him and he shatters me to pieces. I dont have access to family who are very supportive due to their issues, but I do pray for them so God can put healing and understanding inside of them even to my many relatives I have in Greece. I am going to see my mom tomorrow at the hospital as she heals from her stroke and I hope she is fine when I get there. Today I have gathered up scripture of the most powerful in the Bible and I will meditate on the Lords words to heal and protect me and give me the strength I need to move past this hardship I'm facing and I will continue to work on the gifts the Lord gave me. I love this kind of a sorrowful and haunting music a lot never ever been forgetting or bored still keep listening to since a long time
A day of quiet, in memory of my father, who passed away unexpectedly on January 2nd, 1997.
5 days before this past Christmas (December 20th) I came home to find my cat Elsie sprawled on the hallway floor. - He unexpectedly had what's called a "Saddle Thrombus." (aka: a blot clot resulting in a feline stroke.) Not what I expected to have to go through before Christmas either way, as my father walked into a hospital on December 6th, to be told he would be going home the same day, and never walked out. He was left on life support, as he strangely came out of a coma the sday before Christmas. God gave us two days of hope, and then he went back under. I got the called at 10 minutes past midnight that he was found "Unexpectedly dead." Today is that anniversary.
Together, his and Elsie's passing have my mindset momentarily shattered, while coping with this day.
This piece of music is very fitting.
That is a beautiful picture. I can imagine having a home on top of the hill with glass windows all around so that I can see the different views. The views from there are not only of the land but so far from the city, the sky would be brilliant at night.

Hans Zimmer is absolutely an amazing talent. Imo among 5 greatest composers in the past 100 years. The right soudtrack is often the difference between an ok and an epic movie.
