The Flash has better ratings, but for me Arrow is the better one. I fell in love with Arrow since the first episode. It's so sad to see it end.

I've recently read that Marc Guggenheim revealed that Oliver and Mia will meet during S8. Probably why Stephen Amell said the chances were pretty good for a Oliver and Mia moment.

He's so humble. Screw the politeness Stephen, if you were such an amazing Oliver Queen the show wouldn't have taken off. So it IS you that kicked it all off and I thank you because I adore Arrow and I'm gonna be really sad to see it go.
Stephen Amell really seems like a humble and sincerely nice person. I hope to see him again in other works.
His version of Oliver Queen differs significantly than comic canon and the actor IMO gives a lot of influence in that.
At first his Oliver Queen was really battle-hardened, a bit too similar to Bruce Wayne tbh but it was logical to the story.
Over time as Oliver opens up to more people, the Batman-ish persona vanished, not being replaced with the sarcastic/flirtious Oliver canon in comics but instead I personally think that Stephen Amell's kindness were infused to the character development of CW's Oliver Queen

It's been great to see all these interviews with Stephen lately; I miss his social media (mostly Facebook) presence and he seems like such a great guy. I really hope Emily comes back! Even for just one scene.

@@stop9273 She was basically the comic relief in an otherwise dark show that could have been light if they made Oliver Queen a little more like his comic book persona, but it had to be gritty. I'll admit they made some bad moves w/r/t Olicity drama but it's a good ship and Emily is a great actress with wonderful timing and Felicity was a necessary character.
@@Starlysh I agree that in season 1 and 2 she was needed. However the fact is she was only okay in season 3 and there is no denying that she ruined season 4 completely and her storyline with the hacker group in season 5 was the weakest part of that season.
Therefore she was not needed as she almost ruined the show for 2 seasons and didn't get much better

It's sad to see the show ending when its own actors like Stephen Amell are so into it, so attached to it. Sure, many actors get attached to their shows to some extent, but rarely you see it so deep as with Stephen and i can equally as much understand it as respect it. Cheers :)

I love Stephen Amell. Also I’m sincerely hoping Manu Bennett comes back as well, he’s such an underrated actor and he’s my favorite incarnation of Deathstroke aside from the comics.
Edit: I just got done watching Esai Morales play Slade Wilson/Deathstroke. And it was glorious. He may be favorite now.

@Sora Gardiner My Nielsen box has never missed Arrow since S2, after buying the S1 blu-ray. We won't talk about Supergirl. Like any series, some plots I didn't like, but the choreographed fight sequences, most of the acting, and Amell's hard work has always been first rate. As for those who criticize anything, it is my policy to not care about opinions from people you don't know.

I love the show. I think it really sucks that the Queen/Smoak family never actually had a chance to be together as a real family. What's the deal with so much "protection" that you're never present in your children's life? I don't get it. Anyway, I hope they give them a chance to reunite and spend sometime together because why so much sacrifice if children are broken and emotionally unstable because of the lack of Parenthood?

I'm really gonna miss Arrow, it's my favorite of all the CW DC shows and the funny thing is a friend years ago told me about it and I wasn't watching it and somewhere along season 3 I started following and was hooked.
Arrow is the G.O.A.T. Hands down I'm gonna miss this show. Hopefully he comes back for future crossovers and we get a John Diggle Green Lantern spinoff

5:05 I didn't see any such scene in season 8, except for 1 where his daughter says she can't cook, & GA says, "Makes sense" referring to how Felicity can't cook. That was it.
