      Both Dakotas should come as one DLC, as well as Virginias or Carolinas, also all little states should come as one DLC, that would've been the best for game in my opinion :-)

      Yes, Texas is huge, and the DLC packs are great. Only you forget that it took more than 4 years to create one DLC Texas. Therefore, the point is in large packs of maps, why wait so long for their release and waste time.

    I agree with you on moving north, and yes one dlc for the dakotas... moving east but they should do three state regions in one dlc, Louisiana, Mississippi and Arkansas in one dlc, then Alabama, Georgia and Florida and so on. Making a coast to coast on I-10 would be a great run. Just my thoughts, thanks for the videos.

      if they are gonna do Arkansas they might as well finish off and do TN and NC as that would finish off i-40 which is one of the largest trucking arteries in the nations as well spanning from NC to California. However I think they will just keep going north once they finish Kansas.

    I’m thinking they may continue to have two map teams working in parallel after Kansas- one dedicated to continuing north with Nebraska and another building east with a combined Louisiana/Arkansas DLC for 2024. Great video!

    After Nebraska and the Dakotas, I see Arkansas and Louisiana as one DLC to form the "boot" and then it is Missouri and Iowa. I am honestly excited to see what SCS will do after the Dakotas are done. The sky is the limit to where SCS wants to do, and I wish the process could speed up faster a bit. It'll take another two decades for the entire country to be done at this rate

    I think your prediction is spot on. Personally, I would indeed like them to move immediately towards Florida, and continue to fill towards the north from there. There's just a lot more interesting stuff on the east coast, and driving from coast to coast would be a really unique experience

    I am not minding the pace SCS releases the DLCs in, but I might worry that the game will be massivly outdated the time we would arrive at a point talking about Canada or Mexico DLCs, let alone South America. I mean we are 7 years in right now and we are not even half way through the USA. Imagine us sitting here 2030 with the full USA map ... Gaming will have changed by then.

    I would prefer to see Louisiana and Arkansas combo next to provide some variety of scenery and the start of higher density of cities and towns. Nebraska could come next but a combo of Nebraska and South Nebraska would be my preference as they are low number of viable cities. I feel getting to Chicago is a high priority for me. I would like to get to Illinois by the end of 2025.

    Many Congrats for the video first of all. Honestly I think They'll head up North toward Nebraska and the Dakotas (bundled in one DLC). After that there are Two Options: Moving East reaching Louisiana and Arkansas before, Missouri and Iowa next, going North and getting closer to Minnesota, the Great Lakes Region and Chicago.The Second Option is always the Louisina DLC and then countinue straight to the the Atlantic, including Mississippi, Alabama Georgia and at Last Florida. Who knows, SCS is full of Surprises 😊

    As someone who lives in Oklahoma I could see them doing states that go east of Oklahoma because I-40 is a HUGE trucker thorofare that spans from North Carolina to california. However for keeping things looking even they will probably just keep going north up from Oklahoma.

  • @patrickrichmond9896
    @patrickrichmond9896 Před rokem

    I am with you when it comes to segments for when it comes to really working your way north each time you start a new row east of your previous row. However, it is also hard to predict because of the highways. I-35 does go north and south, but then in Kansas, it turns to the northeast and heads to Kansas City where it crosses into Missouri and then goes straight north as it approaches Iowa. However, where 35 leaves off in Kansas, you have I-135, and then US 81 which goes straight north of I-70. Pretty much of Oklahoma, Kansas, and much of your states north of Texas can get to be pretty flat. An all-south DLC might not sound bad, but Reddit stated that also Arkansas, and Missouri might not be all that far off. I sent a ton of Missouri ideas to Pavel for areas mostly from I-44 on south. And I assume they are having or may be having future Missouri DLC development meetings going on right now. Once we reach New York, I am sure there will be a major shipyard to be added to the game because Manhattan has a great big shipyard.

    Its going to be Nebraska and Dakotas next SCS does not have the assets to model swamps and right now it is best to go north not east and south finish the map and then go east. SCS has three teams when one game wraps that team develops another map Texas has wrapped so the revamp team is back in California. Oklahoma is almost done just needs polishing after Oklahoma is Kansas then Nebraska will come out and Dakoda next year. The South will come out in 2025 SCS needs to get new graphics to model swamps before they go here.
