Hey cody i just wanted to ask if you can do a demo on the Neon Diablo by Blackcat 5" Canister shell's. Im planning on getting them this year but not to sure how they are.
Cody, get a 4’x4’ sheet of plywood and build a lip around the edge. Use it for spinning fountains, ground bloom flowers, jumping jacks, and buzz bombs. It will last for a couple of years.
It appears CodyB is pretty serious about "safety" and doing this by the book. I doubt he would do something as radical as hanging a fountain upside-down from a high place but you sure have given ME a great idea! I think I'll try that!
A "Babushka" is a Russian (or Polish) old lady or grandmother. The imagery on the fountain is from the traditional Russian "nesting" dolls. Source: 50% Russian ancestry.
Next time put the spinning fountain on a board. It will keep it off the ground, and it'll spin like it's supposed to. I did that with spinning fountains in the past, and it worked pretty well, so try that next time.

But then it becomes to expensive for a 5 min show. we all like the cakes and motors but they get super expensive for a solid five or 10 min show, without having a few 5 dollar fountains and a few smoker's to fill in the down time. If you grab some some sticks I recommend getting a few Red, white and blue smoker's then fusing together. That was a bigger hit then I expected last year. Just gotta make sure you leave a few inches between each smoke stick so they dont blend together into one big cloud.
Love that you feature fountains and novelties as well as the big guns. Really nice fountains, and all stuff I'll be remembering when I hit the stores shortly.
Those were really good fountains. Cat5 and Volcano Eruption we're definitely my favorite. The dual effect with the angle in Volcano Eruption was a really nice touch.

I really liked the volcano eruption by red lantern fireworks Cody. And I think you put the big panda fountain the opposite way Cody that fountain had the white strobing eyes finale which we didn't see.
Love that they rebooted the red lantern brand….the name goes back to one of the largest groups of factories in early 70s China, and to this day is an INTERNATIONAL BRAND… a they stopped using the name in the late 90s -2020 but the same group of Red Lantern factories never stopped production and produced for countless world wide brands.
The last one was the best 10 points, many greetings from Germany and sorry, if something is wrong with the language, unfortunately I only do everything with a translator.

Cody you are my mane man for firework reviews but you gotta keep a board or piece of plywood from “Menards” when you have spinners. I wish I could show you my set up of tubes rocket rack screwed down on a plank with an open space for ground blooms and spinning fountains like Pyro Engine. You are slowly making me a fan of fountains though.
Just a thought, would it be weird to blur the preview portion up front? I like the premise of it, but I also feel like it gives away a lot because once you've seen it you know what's coming from the firework. I may be the only one who feels this way?
Next time bring a nice smooth board to put such a spinning device on. I had a feeling it was not going too work well on the gravel. Hey... you live... you learn.

By the way one of the best fountains I've seen is called Cemetary Gates, by OMG fireworks... The performance on this thing is amazing and I bought a wholesale case of 4 😁 I'll probably have all 4 going off at once, during my pyromusical show this year.
Why don't you keep a plank of wood or sheet metal in the bed of your pickup so you can have a flat surface? Ive noticed that whenever you do spinning stuff or jumping jacks it's often a fail because you're in sand or a gravel pit.

Have you thought about flipping over a fountain and placing it up high so it sprays downwards? Might be cool to try.
Never done that but we live on a lake and light them off with goggles and go underwater and watch the effects it's pretty cool

It's funny because before your videos I was all into the aerials. Now, I look at getting good fountains.
Those are good fountains. Living in California, we're pretty much stuck with TNT for fountains who charges an arm and a leg for em.

The spinning fountain was the most disappointing, not because it didn't spin, but because it lasted such a short time.
A little tip, next time you have a spinning fountain have a concert block to put it on so that it spins.
