We have won both cl and copa del rey by destroying our rivals. On the flipside we missed winning title at the league by 3 points because of the last 4 games unfortunately. Also donât forget the disgrace caused by Mallenco in Bernabeu at the gamed played against Barça in 13/14 season. That was a breaking point.

Iâm not surprised that with Ronaldo gone, Bale is really struggling. BBC worked so well because youâd have Benzema drop deeper to create in the False 9 position whilst Ronaldo and Bale would tuck inside on either side. It meant that for Bale all he had to do was swing in the cross and guarantee that Ronaldo would be on the other side ready to shoot or head the ball, or he could wait on the other side for Ronaldo to cross over for him. Youâve got two fast wingers with strong aerial abilities and passing and they act almost like a striker pair. But now with Ronaldo gone, Hazard/Vinicius both like to have the ball at their feet to dribble in and shoot, whilst Bale canât really send in crosses because Benzema doesnât have quite the finishing and aerial ability of Ronaldo and Hazard/Vinicius definitely arenât poachers either. That just leaves Bale isolated on the wing and itâs also why he always looks out of place when he gets played. I feel bad for him because he definitely doesnât deserve to be hated on so much when itâs not his fault heâs not playing in a system that actually tries to get any benefit out of him. Itâs also why even Benzema has been struggling recently, because heâs being forced to act as a target man than a creative forward and itâs just not that ideal for him.
