Delta 56 (DL056) Salt Lake City to Amsterdam in economy class. #airbus #a330neo #deltaairlines #theglobalgs #ukraine #crewlife #airplane #delta #a330 #a330-900
Yes, I am watching this for a second time - quite the adventures you all had. Thank you for taking more supplies to those in need. I hope the Ukrainians are able to get more help soon.
Delta customer service particularly on this trip was awful. I have made an effort to avoid Delta for years, I only fly them out if necessity. This time they were horrible
Yes but United didn’t charge anything a month earlier for the same bags full of donations. Delta posts on social media that they “support Ukraine” but when it’s time to actually do something they prefer profits over actually helping. All I’m saying is that this is $635 less that would have made it to hungry people in Ukraine. Shame on Delta.
We had tried to arrange ahead of time to do this. The Delta agents were so anti customer service that they wouldn’t even speak to me on the phone while they were checking in at the airport. Either way, cargo or not, they saw an opportunity to make a profit off of humanitarian supplies so they did. United airlines allowed the bags to fly free in March.
Yes, transporting cargo by aircraft costs money. If you shipped it by UPS you would have had to pay, so why are you upset that Delta Airlines charges for transportation?
Because, they say they are for supporting Ukraine, but when it’s time to step it up and actually take supplies over, they didn’t. United did. We tried to arrange this before hand, it was supposed to have been taken care of. Delta’s agents at the ticket counter were so rude, that they refused to speak to me over my wife’s phone to explain this to them. They were high on their power trip. They chose to perceive the customers as the enemy in this situation. In the end this caused over $600 less that made it directly to refugees in need.
@@sushka , So you formally, in writing, before the flight date, signed a legal contract for transportation of these cases, and Delta didn't honor it? Interesting. Usually the freight division of Delta Airlines honors paid contracts for freight movement unless the normal passenger baggage load will already push the limits of mass for the flight. More mass, more fuel, more cost. Too much mass, can't reach destination within legal fuel reserve requirements. Anyway, as we in the USA have been repeatedly lectured about, shipping individual packages into disaster zones is incredibly wasteful. Better to find legal good organizations that buy and ship in bulk so the net amount of products procured and recieved in the disaster zone per dollar is higher. Think Berlin Airlift, not individual care packages sent by families to POWs in German POW camps.
@@sushka I only I ever flew Delta from Miami to Los Angeles in 2015 was OK. Might try a service from London to US someday. I normally use Virgin Atlantic
Wow quite engines and there are like 30% bigger than the engines in a 330-300 and more powerfull in thrust at least 30 percent and 30 percent more in fuel efficient
As Adams the economy might get I wouldneverwork for a p n j punks, if things get bad I will move to a farm in Brazil, pay the taxes for the next 20 years and live of the land, and just live on the farm eat wat I make
Excellent trip report!
Thanks so much
Loved the details about your trip details thank you for helping the Ukrainian people 💙💙💙 - a wonderful story!

Good job,i love the a330 neo

Thanks for being a returning subscriber!
Wouldn’t have happened if Trump was president.
I love Salt Lake City
It’s a a great place 👍
I lived there for one year. The state and the people of Utah are beautiful.
hey great flight. How was the customer service on there? AA is usually the worst. Would they allow 52-53 pounds without a fee.
Delta customer service particularly on this trip was awful.

What camera did you use?
This was an IPhone 13
Been a member you get your free things… 6 bags for that amount is normal in every airline.

@@sushka with that many bags it’s cheaper to fly it as cargo.

Hi is row 37 between comfort+ and main cabin has extra leg room?
No, they push the main seats behind comfort directly behind them.
@@sushka Thanks! So there is no need to pay extra on row 37, which is right next to comfort + correct?
I believe that’s correct
@@sushka thanks!
how was the seat recline
Average seat recline
I like 2-4-2 seating.
I like it too. I miss the 2-5-2 seating that old school wide bodies had too for some reason.
@@sushka ,
Booo, no to middle seats! Only 1 seat to pass to get to the aisle!
Decent aircraft hopefully fly on 1 day. Delta are bringing these to London Heathrow finally. Los Angeles and New York are a few to names
Yeah it’s ok. Delta isn’t my favorite however because of their lack of customer service.

I would recommend Virgin Atlantic any day over Delta 💯
@@sushka I went recently on Virgin B787-9 to Los Angeles and returned from Las Vegas
How was it?
Anyone know at 2:29 what row is that?
That’s the last row of the Delta Comfort seats Row 23
@@sushka thank you!!
You’re welcome ☺️

@@sushka But the economy class there’s no lotta space for the legs
Very true. It’s even worse on Eurowings Discover A330-300
