  • In this lesson, I’ll share five easy tips to enhance your fireworks photos using ON1 Photo RAW. First, use a luminosity mask to target and enhance the brightness and color of fireworks while protecting other areas. Next, employ a color range mask to adjust specific colors within the fireworks, like brightening or increasing saturation. You can also target specific regions using either a luminosity or color range mask and refine these masks with tools like the masking brush or masking bug. Fourth, increase contrast to reduce smoke around the fireworks. Lastly, for a creative touch, add fireworks to a scene by layering another firework photo and blending it in using the "lighten" blending mode. These techniques will help you bring your fireworks photos to life.

    About ON1
For a decade and a half, we've provided award-winning software to millions of photographers worldwide. We accomplish this by being different than other photo software companies. We put you the photographer first, and this means our customers have complete control over every aspect of their photography.
Today, most mainstream software solutions take away control of your photography by locking away the organization and editing of your photos into closed systems. These solutions sort of hold your photos hostage by only allowing access to the tools and features you need as long as you pay up and stay within their system. You should have control of what’s yours, and what matters to you with your photography.
    Our Mission
To deliver the tools you need to organize, edit, and share your photos and to provide professional quality image processing, the creativity you desire, the service you deserve, and to keep you in control of your photography.

Another great job Dylan. You have become a master of On1. So many ways to do things it boggles the old mind.

Great video. I have always struggled with removing smoke from my fireworks pics and your method seems really good easy.

Tried to switch to On1 from LR Classic. ON1 crashes every 15 minutes on my 2019, 27-in iMac. I have 80GB RAM and i9 processor. I am 70 yrs old and became totally frustrated. Also found no easy way to delete all the images that I “disliked” with an X. Not intuitive at all. I’m usually ok with being an old dog learning a new trick. Not going to pursue this one. I tried
