Can you tell me i had an exposure in 25 september 2021 and i did finger prick test after 2 -3 - 7 - 9 and repeated the test after 11 months and all of them came negative,please tell me how accurate are rapid finger pirck tests???

Pleaze ive done hiv rapid 1/2 after unprotected sex at day 14/21/47/74/84/90/96 all are negative and pcr rna hiv1 at day 108 was neg and rapid hiv1/2 at day 22 weeks are 100%
Limitations:
- Antibody tests may give false negative during the window period, an interval of 3 weeks to 6 months between the time of HIV infection and the production of measurable
antibodies to HIV seroconversion. Most people develop detectable antibodies approximately 30 days after infection, although some seroconvert later. The vast majority of
people (97%) have detectable antibodies by three months after HIV infection a 6-month window is extremely rare with modern antibody testing.
- Early antiretroviral therapy during the window period may alter antibody responses. This does not apply to individuals undergoing treatment with post-exposure
prophylaxis (PEP).
- Antibody tests may yield false negative results in patients with X-linked agammaglobulinemia.
- A positive HIV result in an infant

I took an Oraquick test and it’s been a year since exposure but my test was negative. Since it’s been a year does that mean I only need 1 test or should I take another?

Hello sir After having possible exposure.
1) I have done HIV 1 DNA PCR qualitative on 78,94,110 days result is NOT DETECTED
2)I have done RNA PCR qualitative method taqmon on 110 days result is NOT
DETECTABLE
3) I have done ECLIA 4th generation P24 & antibody on 78(SRL lab),88(Metropolis lab),94(Metropolis lab ),105(Metropolis lab ),120(Metropolis lab ),126(Metropolis lab),160(Metropolis lab ),164(Dr lalpath) and result is non reactive
4) Also one rapid test on 32(spot test immunofilteration), 64 days result is negative
5) Hiv 2 Rt qualitative at 110 days is also not detected
6)P24 antigen detectable test at 110 days is also negative
Please say how much percentage i am safe now ?

U r completly fine 1st of all u r hiv negative then why are unnecessarily testing everything. Dont stress ur mind, dont google it much. Even if u have hepatitis b its cured in many cases. Be calm and involve in work
Bro 3 month and 6 month is conclusive so don't take stress ...u have to consult with counselor and psychologist

There is no test for HIV you are just testing antibodys and tell people they are hiv when they are not
