Mumble rap never really affected Finnish music. You did see its influence in the beats people chose and in some of the themes of the songs, but we never started to mumble. At some point rap from south finland started to chance and it's barely Finnish with all the loaned words they use.

It took so long Finnish rap to have any sort of audience, the early stuff was mostly your local weedheads releasing tapes on cassettes. And this went on until at least like 2000, only few actual albums were released.

I would not have mind them replacing few Cheeck tracks. But overall, so many artists were missing. I think Raimo - Negatiivista palautetta, should have been in there as its like the first big posse track. That basically had everyone from that period in that scene.

Finnish rap is more diverse than what is shown in this video. Think about it, what would "The evolution of American rap" look like if you can only have more or less two songs per year?
Also, the US is a country with 330 million people, whereas Finland only has about 5.6, i.e. compare Finland to a single US state. And in that regard, Finland probably has more diversity than most US states.
