I was 19 when I decided to get baptized. Some members in my family thought I was rushing to make a huge decision since I'm still young and said not to go do it and backslide. But I did it to acknowledge The Lord and tell the world that I believe in Jesus Christ as My Lord and Savior. I did backslide, but I learned that Jesus is married to the backslider. It doesn't mean I won't sin, but I will humble myself before him and repent for my sins. To this day, it was the best decision I have made in my life. Thank you Emmanuel for never forsaking me. I'm praying for those who want to accept Christ but are feeling pressured not to by people around them. God Bless you all 🙏🙌❤❤❤❤
I was baptised when I was ten years old....I am twenty seven and still with Jesus. Samuel was only seven when the Lord began to use him mightily... Keep the faith. In law in most country you can be held accountable for serious crimes at an even younger age than nineteen so why can't you be accountable to God? I am glad you made the decision and so is Heaven 😁

Joshua Mills yes the pastor did. I did have the experience of going to a church when I was 18 where they didn’t really acknowledge Our God as being triune. It went against scripture, so I didn’t want to go there again after the first visit.
When i told my parents i was getting baptized after I got born again, they couldn't understand why because i was baptized as a child according to Catholic church rituals.
But I was sure beyond any doubt that the Holy Spirit was leading me to baptism by immersion because now I understood exactly what I was doing, and from that day my Journey of Faith was propelled sooo much. Don't be ashamed by people trying to belittle your decision, everything we do we do as unto the Lord, and God will reward your obedience.

A key purpose in water baptism is that the ceremony itself is a public confession of your new found faith in Christ, and I think we've all heard that before. But what seldom gets mentioned (if ever, actually) is what's happening in the Spirit realm..... Spiritually, what's happening is Jesus is telling Satan that; Hey, no longer yours, THIS ONE NOW BELONGS TO ME! Amen

I was saved in November and baptised in water on Sunday. I am still SO full of joy and overwhelmed with emotion over it. My son was dedicated too and he can’t wait till he’s a bit older so he can be baptised too! (He’s only 4) I said perhaps when he’s about 7 (?) although he already knows A LOT about the Faith, and the deception due to us being saved from new age spirituality and pantheism, he was practicing yoga and meditation with me 😭
He is now on his own walk with The Holy Spirit and wakes up quoting scripture and chapter names and verse numbers... it’s awesome how The Father speaks to us in our sleep.
Praise YaHUaH!! His long suffering agape love for us is SO beautiful 💛

So good. I got baptized as a baby. Then, chose to get baptized in a church as an adult. God then led me to get baptized at a Dani Johnson event at a Hyatt hotel - literally felt completely different walking in deep relationship with God. Led then in 2015 to be baptized with Holy Spirit & fell completely out before I was touched by human hands - letting me know all God.
On baptism
First What Jesus said:
1. Jesus said.
Mark 16:16
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
Ex- If I told you, if you will come to my house and cut my grass I'll give you fifty dollars.
Argument against baptism in this passage.
Note- It is understood that- if you come to my house AND cut my grass you get fifty dollars.
It is absurd to think that it isn't just that you show up and you get fifty dollars you must also cut the grass to get the money. Pt One is dependent upon the other. There's nothing in the passage that honestly makes you believe that baptism isn't necessary.

2. Great Commission
Matt 28:18-20
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them inthe name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. 1. The first recorded Gospel Sermon:

2. The Samaritans conversion.

But when they believed Philip as he preached good news about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
III. Individual conversions
1 . Simons Conversion

2. . The conversion of the Eunich

IV. Other Churches
1. The Corinthians
Acts 18:8
Crispus, the ruler of the synagogue, believed in the Lord, together with his entire household. And many of the Corinthians hearing Paul believed and were baptized.
2. At Ephesus
Acts 19:5
On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
3. Paul recounts this conversion.
Acts 22:16
And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on his name.

V. Baptism explained in Epistles:
1. Puts us in Christ
Galatians 3:27
For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
2. Burried with Him.
Romans 6: 3-4
Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.
3. Saves us
I Peter 3:21
Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

The Bible says you have to be baptized by water...... It don't matter who sees it.... They see it though you are, the person you change into...... The teaching that baptism is only for an outward public showing is a false teaching John 3:5 says Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
You have to be baptized by water to get into heaven plain and simple Jesus said it....

How else did Jesus promise the Penitent Thief on the Cross to be with Him in Paradise. Surely, You believe Jesus!?
And if someone is 'incapacitated' and cannot be baptized, but Believe in Jesus and Follow Him, do You think said Person, not ABLE to be baptized, will be rejected by God?
Baptism is a sacred ordinance given by Jesus, as I understand it! If You identify with The Cross (Father, Son, Holy Spirit), and are able physically and otherwise to undergo PHYSICAL baptism, then it OUGHT TO/ SHOULD BE done!
Jesus Himself nor Apostle Paul made as big a deal about baptism by water as they did about SPIRITUAL BAPTISM because the TRUE baptism that we need in order to make it unto the End (Eternal Life) is to be baptized in Jesus, who Gives the Holy Spirit in our spiritual REBIRTH.
