As was said...John was Credence. Absolutely brilliant song writer, guitarist and vocalist. I don't think he ever wrote a bad song that he allowed to be released. His vocals, playing and singing stand the test of time and most of his songs are fun to cover. It's hard to think of another band other than the Beatles that wrote and arranged that much rock solid material and the Beatles had three superb song writers and a fourth that wasn't so bad.
The awesome John Fogerty. He was Creedence by himself. He has proven that so many times. A great vocalist, musician, and songwriter. Perfect in all three categories.
Tom Fogerty was a very accomplished musician. He wrote some really good tunes. He and John had a brotherly rivalry. I think Tom wanted more input in CCR. Too bad he and John had a fallout, and Tom died subsequently. I believe they would have partnered up in time.
@mrbarleymob Yes he does, intentionally. On the original record, it does sound like " Theres the bathroom, on the right ". So now... he includes it. LOL.
I have heard Fogerty say that he was inspired to write this song from a movie he saw about a man who sells his soul to the devil. Does anybody know the title of that movie? " Don't go 'round tonight ... " Thanks.
not a musician here but is there a reason he s playing it so fast compared to the original? is he just having too much fun? thats what it seemed like to me lol

"There's a bad moon on the rise" sounds like "there's a bathroom on the right."
He actually does sing that most of the time as a joke. Over the years thousands of people have asked him about it, so as a goof he says it.
Hahaha Yes xD
