Brazil doesn't share a border with Chile, and it is in the middle of a tectonic plate, so Brazil doesn't suffer from Earthquakes, it can feel something, but not in a dangerous level.
I'm pretty sure that they did not have anything against the Caribbean countries (Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana), Like Barby said they probably haven't heard much given how culturally different they are than the rest of South American and are culturally closer with the islands.
This is what we figured. It's interesting, but understandable.
About the whole earthquake thing, i dont think brazil is affected by them, because they're not on the ring of fire (most active earthquake and volcanic activity zone). About Chile and earthquakes, it's definitely the country that gets them the most, it's with Japan in the top countries with the most activity, and the strongest earthquake ever recorded was in Chile, so it's really integrated in the culture
The straight A student reference to Venezuela probably refers to Venezuela once being a very wealthy country that has now gone down financially and most of its population suffering, living in poverty, and having to leave. Much of their money has been in oil but not diverse enough in other sectors.
There are earthquakes in Brazil but they're light or moderate and usually doesn't make much damage. There are only 4 deaths registered in Brazil due to earthquakes. Most of them are felt in the amazon region. Apart from that we don't have many natural disasters. I guess the biggest 'natural' problem is flooding cause our summer is VERY RAINY! Right now the state of Acre is suffering from the rain.
Arepas are a cheesy and sometimes meaty doughy food. Colombia and Venezuela argue over who is the original. Visit the closest Colombian/Venezuelan restaurant and give them a try.

I'm Ecuadorian and not sure about the ecuadorian description... We are chill... Sure, but also have the must underrated food...
Used to live in Ecuador for a couple of years (Chilean here) the food was sooo good!!! There was too much rice for my liking but everything else was amazing. I'll have to disagree on the education portion, at least when I studied there (left about about 5 years ago) it wasn't something that I would highlight about the country, and I regularly saw street fights happen outside some public schools, like serious fights.
Columbia have alot of Venezuelans yes but I feel like Trinidad & Tobago 🇹🇹 have housed the most Venezuelan immigrants in recent years. 2019 and onwards
The distance in terms of connection between Latin American countries and French Guayana, British Guayana and Suriname has nothing to do with their being Caribbean. Please note that Colombia as well as Venezuela are also Caribbean geographically. All these five countries border the Caribbean Sea. The issue stems from the colonización period. The English, French and Dutch tried numerous times in the past to invade and rule over both Spanish and Portuguese territories for over a century. The distinct language differences between English, Dutch and French with Spanish and Portuguese speaking countries also create a divide.
We Argentines are not as egocentric as it seems at first glance, it's just that we are very proud of our country achievements, so we like to show it off a little, we always talk about how we were the first country in Latin America to do this and that.

It boils down to language. Every time people learn a new language, a new perspective is learned. Therefore, different perspectives. All of South America is super diverse, but the official languages make a difference. Nothing wrong with Guyana, nor French Guiana, nor Suriname. We the rest of South America understand.
Earthquakes are a huge problem in Brasil. When Chile gets a 6.5 or higher... Brazilians love to be impressed with after shocks of less than 3.5 that barely can be sensed. "Oh God, my light fixture moved twice"... it is like Californians afraid of hurricanes. Ridiculous

Argentina is prejudiced unfortunately I went with friends to visit and they treated my friend very badly she is black and they couldn't hide their disgusted looks at her we returned to Australia angry I don't want to show hate sorry.

It’s not true about the Ecuadorian and Peruvian food. The food is Peruvian and Ecuadorian food has Peruvian influence. They always want to steal Peruvian food
