Shri.Dalai Lama is comfortably hosted and stays secured in Bharath.We wish him a long life but there is no getting away from hard facts that he is advanced in age. He does have to announce his successor Lama. It is imperative that he does it sooner than later. Perhaps, he has spelled it out in a classified legal document or Will. China or rather its non state actor viz., CCP has no sovereign rights over Tibet. Rather Bharath can stake its own claim over Tibet. In any case. it is in Bharath’s utmost interests that Tibet remains an independent sovereign Country. May be Bharath can be its Protectorate State. Bharath would thus get rid of a border with China and also get back Aksai Chin and choke China’s vital road route further Eastwards Americans on the other hand would any day favour a simmering and festering China - Bharath border confrontation for as long as it lasts.America does not have a border with China and can confront China over Tibet using Bharath as a proxy in between. But the most galling is that Shri.Dalai Lama is diluting the whole issue.He wants only autonomy for Tibet under China. Why? What is he scared of?
