I am glad you got lucky with the tint, mine is sooooo greenish. But blasts everything in this size with output and range. I guess you cannot have it all :D
I have two of these.. one in aluminum and one in copper... if you are interested in getting one, go for copper.. it's a bit brighter..either way.. it's an insane light and one of my favorites from my collection.

Maybe. X1L has more focused beam despite lower output, but also optics instead of the reflector. Two completely different flashlights in the same body ;)
I personally can't look at 6000k and especially 6500k In over 600 lumens, my nitecore tm20k is never used due to it just hurting the eyes in its lowest 300 lumen mode now i only get 5000k or lower

how does this compare to the lumintop X1L? does the X1L not step down so aggressively? much lower lumen output but stats show similar throw?

Tried it. It stepped down way too quickly on turbo so I returned it.
Glad you tried it for yourself. With such a power and compact body physics cannot be fooled and Turbo output is for short bursts only
