Also didn't want to make the video too confusing, but the sensor size also plays into the perceived focal length. The smaller the sensor, the more "zoomed in" a given lens will look. The GH5 is MFT mount (2x crop), but with the speedbooster, the sensor crop is effectively that of an APS-c (OR super 35) camera (~1.4x crop). I prefer to look up examples rather than get caught up in the numbers, but just saying make sure the lens is the correct mount/look for your camera before you buy!
thanks for this. I shoot as well in a small room and I am looking to upgrade my setup and I love the way your videos look, plus you're an amazing guitar player. thank you for the great content.
Nice video ! Could you one day made a video on how to recreate a guitar tone from a song by ear (on bias fx or any softwares). I never found videos about it.
I am so freaking happy i found your channel dude! ive been struggling to find the right lens for my small room and i only have the kit lens 18-135 and a 50mm. The kit lens looks sh*t if you kindly have the time to go into my channel and check my last upload you will know why and the 50 prime is almost impossible to use in my small room... Would you recommend i go for a Sigma 35mm for my canon? i wonder if that would work on my canon 77D.
i would go with the sigma 18-35mm that i have! looks like the 77d is APS-C size and EF mount so that would work, and both 18 & 35 are really useful, especially the 18 in small room... plus the lens looks very nice. i got mine used but they're not even that pricey new as well
Clint Tustin thanks dude! I’m checking 18-35mm lens now on a second hand market. If it really works then I’ll go for it and I’ll thank you for the rest of my life for it. 🙏
I need help. I have a very simple canon 200d mark ii . I want to show my face on DSLR while cooking in landscape only. The problem is I am too tall, if I show my face, my kitchen platform is not showing up
I started with photography, but I mostly do video and motion design/animation now! And most of the muting is done with the fretting hand when I'm sweeping, unless i want to add the right hand for an extra muted sound
Hey, Clint- Just got enough of a budget for a camera. What FPS do you recommend shooting in, and how do you get it up to 60 FPS all the way through the editing process?
Nice! If you want a cinematic look, then shoot in 24fps. That’s what I do pretty much every time and I just shoot in 60fps if I want slo motion footage
@@clinttustin Perfect. That was the clearest answer ever. I'll come back next time I get a question I can't answer. Thank you, Clint. You're literally the best.
really great video ! i'm currently using the G7 with the lumix 25mm f/1.7 lens and was wondering if it would be good to upgrade to the sigma 18-35 from that? thanks!
Nice. Not sure as I’ve never used that lumix lens. Renting lenses is pretty cheap so you could try the sigma that way. However you will need m4/3 to canon EF speedbooster to have the lens work best on the G7 or any m4/3 camera
Haven’t really figured that out yet, but I think having multiple passions/hobbies or building in relax time is a good way to keep things from getting redundant
lately, i've been using a loadbox + cab IR so it just comes out monitors and isn't too loud... for this i actually just added a small room verb to my direct recording so it sounds like camera audio lol
Love the attention to detail you put in audio and video to achieve this quality. It makes the whole multimedia experience so wonderful.

Hi , Could You explain your led lighting method ? It's great !
just bought cheap led strips off Amazon and put them behind my panels, which are mounted about 2” off the wall... reflects nice on white walls

How do you prevent yourself from getting burned out?

would you consider 24mm lens in your current set up? i mean is it still work for small spaces?
definitely
