Many people keep toasters and other small appliances in cupboards especially if they don't have a lot of counter space. Most toasters don't get so hot that you can't touch the outside of them. Brock's logic for not putting it away is like not making your bed because you are just going to use it again that night. Why not just leave clean dishes in the rack instead of putting them away if you are just going to use them again.? Why hang your coat up if you are just going to put it on the next morning? Reba did not say that Brock couldn't come back she said he "might" not be able to come back. That is not to say that Reba is totally innocent. She did wrong too. However it really is unfair to place all the blame on Reba for the break up. Brock was right when he told Cheyenne that he was just as responsible as Reba was and that she did not drive him away. I have seen many scenes in which Reba said something when she was upset but later she realized that she was wrong and apologized for it. BTW I am aware that this is a television show and not real life.
