Khabib Nurmagomedov (born 20 September 1988) is a Russian retired professional mixed martial artist. He notably competed in the lightweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he was the UFC Lightweight Champion from April 2018 until his retirement in October 2020. With 29 wins and no losses, he retired with an undefeated record. As of 9 September 2020, he is #2 in the UFC men's pound-for-pound rankings. As of 2 October 2020, Fight Matrix ranks him as the #2 lightweight of all time.

Tony is unlucky that he didn't face khabib because khabib is no.1 in the division and being defeated by the top guy is like honour compared to bring defeated by lower rating and ranking guys. Tony had 12 win streak but after loosing to olivera, he is being disrespected. He deserves respect but because he lost to lower rank guy like olivera, people are critizing Tony. @@angrymaniac53 I think there was definitely an argument for Tony winning back when he was in his prime and Khabib was more towards the beginning of his UFC career. No one beats current Khabib imo though, not even prime Tony.
I'm getting so tired of Tony fans if he wanted to fight Khabib he shouldn't have taken the Justin fight and waited for Khabib just like Gilbert Burns is waiting for Usman and not taking any other fights.

That's why his eyes turn to hearts every time he looks at him. Connor is a dud bot that he got paid $100m from that silly boxing match. He said it himself, he doesn't need to fight for money anymore. If your employer knows you have a lot of money you better believe you will not be respected anymore.

@@istinkii5309 Well McGregor really could if we were comparing skills in the 155 division but it's somewhat unlikely because of the procrustean constraints of a cage fight which favours wrestling compared to striking; in the wild you were never trapped in confined spaces, our DNA's fight IQ is based on striking and running the fuck away because there were always the person's mates coming to back him up and a closed cage eliminates that ability (favours wrestling because you are not going to get jumped by a third party when you are on the ground unable to defend yourself and by giving a vertical surface to back your opponent into).

His striking works because of his incredible wrestling. The reason why he was successful with his strikes against great strikers like Dustin, Conor, and Gaethje is because they have to constantly be aware of his takedowns. During his fight against Conor, he faked a takedown with his eyes then threw a right hand. If khabib fights with those top level strikers with a boxing or kickboxing rule, he would probably lose.
This guy's the reason why I love this sport.

If he fights GSP inShaAllah he will defeat him but people will still hate on him and say GSP is past his prime. Throughout his life he listened to his father and carried the blessing of his dad to the cage. Now he has to carry the blessing of his mother and listen to her wished just as khabib will want his children to listen to him and his wife.Alhamdulillah ,this man leaves one of the greatest legacy's behind him.
