The context is that he tries to defend Christians from persecution & appeals to the Roman pagan sensibilities to save lives! It is like me saying, that the Egyptian son god of Akhenaton who was worshipped as *one* is a proof that Taweed is pagan. This argument is weak. Every pagan religion had a grain of truth mixed with lies, that is not an issue (because pagans corrupted the true history which they all knew once from Noah & turned it into myths). He was executed by the Emperor for mocking their gods!)
