She didn’t romanticize them and although I do understand where you’re coming from because it also triggered me as well and probably triggered a lot of people- but she is coming from a place of saying take your power back from the past and be proud of who you are (yet she did say it very quickly and maybe too quickly for those of us that have experienced trauma)-- also maybe a reason it’s number one because it’s the most important thing to do is let go of the past

Now I just am so proud of myself and I have happy tears thinking abt how I overcame that
I have to see them often but then only anger ragged upon seeing them
But now I feel ease and I don't care and I don't let them take advantage anymore
They changed too so did I
I learned that revenge and holding grudge is never the solution
I know we both would have experienced something different but try to let go of that and move on

@@TreasureForeverOfficial Yeah, understood. I got it, wha she' s saying, and I also think it's empowering the whole message. But she could say, I mean this part, she could use different words. I understand, her audience is large and story of each of us is unique. And its tough generalize these things. But I think there are more ways how to be in peace with the past. And you don't need to feel thankful to the abusers (even only in your mind).
My personal approach to this is: Bullying almost destroyed my childhood and young adulthood. It was horrible time. I almost commited suicide, until today still struggling with some issues.
I was victim, but I took action, found help, new friends, moved to another city, worked and traveled alot.
It was me and good people around me. These people are those I should be grateful to.

As a person who is crying and feeling bad presently about myself because I try to be the best version of myself and, sometimes, I just told to myself that I didn’t deserve to try and I am nothing, hearing that I deserve to be loved and to give me love was really soothing.
