I’ll go first:
I’m Christina. I’m married to my best friend, Seth, we have 5 kids (ages 2, 4, 7, 11, & 14), and love our family, Jesus, and adventuring together.
We are passionate about being counter culture, including alternatives to traditional schooling. I have experience as a public school teacher, private school teacher, and homeschool mom!
I love the Charlotte Mason education approach, and many others, but I’d say we are more of an eclectic homeschool-mixing the different aspects of homeschool styles that we love-living books, literature-based learning, Montessori, nature study, and so much more!

This was really fun to watch. I have been creating more unit studies for my children to do this year and we have really been enjoying that style of learning altogether. You gave me some good ideas about how to pull things together to try to include everyone.

I am so glad I came across your youtube page. Your page has given me some great ideas when we start homeschooling this summer, so thank you! We are planning to start this summer since I am due with #3 in July. Want to get the kids in some routine before baby. Is there any advice for balancing a new baby with two kids in school (they would be doing the equivalent of 1st and 3rd grade)
I think starting to establish rhythms ahead of time is smart! And then just be gentle and flexible with yourself and your children during the transitions, knowing that if you have to take a break the the morning, the day, the week, it’s ok. The whole health (mental, emotional, physical) of your whole family matters more than academics! You got this mama ❤️

Is this what you would use for “attendance and hours?” My family will start homeschooling after this public school calendar. We are also in NY and I am looking for ways to comply if I am ever asked for records.
