Ashes of Al'ar is one of the most sought-after mounts in WoW, known for its stunning fiery phoenix appearance. It’s a true symbol of prestige and a great mount to begin your collection with. 🌟
The mount drops from Kael'thas Sunstrider, the final boss of The Eye, and has a very low drop rate, so be prepared for a challenge!

Tip tip. With dragon riding. You can just fly up super high. Then angle yourself pointing slightly down. Not too steep of an angle, and you can just fly at about 600% speed mostly afk since its such a wide open sky.

@@LadySurvivalWoW saves you having to go up and down constantly. Which gets annoying but steady flight is like half the speed lul.
@@LadySurvivalWoW isn't the amount on 25% changes from the raid quest on TW? isn't it better to play alts on that quest on TW?
An added tip. Farm mounts like these on vulpera so you can have them set up camp outside these instances.

A note, the first boss (Al'ar) drops a cute pet. A phoenix hawk. Worth killing it on your way to Kael'Thas if you like to collect battle pets.

By far, even to this day, one of the best-looking mounts ever to be in the game. I'm thakful I got it "by accident" while I was farming the TIER 5 transmog for shamans lol! Don't think I'd spend that much time willingly just to get a mount haha!

What does the mount drop look like and how do you see what last boss drops meaning is it a egg or something that shows you got the mount so I won't trash or discard it by accident 😂

you're welcome!! it resets the same time for everyone, on Tuesday!
if you open your Social tab (the icon is above the chat or just press "O" to open it)
then near the bottom if you hit the "Raid" tab and then click "Raid Info" near the top
it will show you all the raids you're locked out of and when they expire :)

unfortunately no, not mounts that drop from bosses. the only place you can sometimes find them is on the black market AH but i dont even know much about that or how it works XD
theres of course some other mounts that can be sold on the AH tho like ones that people craft with professions

i have a quest abou [Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker] , if i get those item(right and left items for quest in MC) by druid , and complete quest and get achievement , can i use this transmog on my paladin(can i see Thunderfury in my transmog page paladin ) ?

I have been farming this damn mount for over 10 years now, was hoping to see something I'm doing wrong but sadly no, just know if you go for this mount you may never get it.
did you try the raid quest on TW, as its part of the loot of the chest for like 25% changes?
i feel for you, i've been farming invincible for 12 years still no luck.

@@Vonericsonz during the Time Walking Burning Crusade, there is a timewalking quest for the Raid of Black Temple. The cache that comes as a reward gives a armor item and also has a high change to give the mount too. If you have a lot of alts, you can try the quest several times. This is how I got the mount.
The quest is called "Disturbance Detected: Black Temple"
still upset that I gave my friend my Al'ar drop...so he could just never use it 😔
