    This is the Light-Duty version of the previous build (Traveler 8x8). It is more practical for simple driving and hauling. Having 4 less wheels saves a lot of energy.
    Pros:
    Increased fuel efficiency
    Increased storage
    Cons:
    Decreased power & speed
    Decreased cargo capacity

    and those who say balloons mess with traction, don't come cryin' to me when ya car tips over and ya can't get her upright. 😑 (i swear, Epic needs to add in that feature from BR. your car flip? just interact with it to flip it again.)

      Thank you! Having realistic design/proportions is very important to me. I’m glad you see it too.

      @@AmirsCraft same for my builds but so far I have only build realistic fighter jets, but I still have no idea how to but the baloons side ways

      @@Ons_TV Woah, jet building is way out of my league, that’s awesome. About the sideways balloon trick, I searched it up. Turns out, all we had to do was just snap to the side of frame pieces. It automatically goes sideways.

    I wish they had short wall pieces like the floor pieces. I used those to basically armor up my vehicle. The base of the body gets covered. But its so wide using the floor pieces. Unless im missing something. I like these vehicle builds

    • @AmirsCraft
      @AmirsCraft  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Yeah I know what you mean, I wanted to do this as well for my Mad Max build. But like you said, the floor pieces are too wide.

    This looks really cool but 4 engines is pointless... You could do 1 engine and 3 grand chests in the same space. Also, i would put Frostpine flooring on the bottom of your wooden chests under each side to make sure they don't break accidentally. Putting a few thrusters on the back for forward thrust will save on power cell life and increase speed. Again, looks really cool and i definitely got a few ideas from it. Thanks for showing it.

      Yeah, I wish more motors = more power, but it does allow you to drive longer before needing to refuel. As for the other choices of frostpine, and forward thrusters. I’ve experimented with those already, but I wanted to keep a balance of function and aesthetic. It gives a good foundation to start with for all people. I’ve been planning to make a video showing how players can modify these designs to their preferences. This definitely gave me a lot of insight to what I can add to that video if I make it. Thanks.

      @@AmirsCraft the flatbed i made for going long distance is self sustaining. It has 4 composters on back. Bring a couple stacks of glass with and and all you have to do is make a crafting bench next to the truck to make power cells when you need them. I think im going to remake a version of that truck using your 4 engine behind the cab design with the 1 engine and 3 chests.

    for the heavy duty version you made, if only i had a boat and the general DIRECTION of the mainland, i can sail across to that Cabover and offload stuff for safe travel. (this... i shoulda had THIS for the star wars island so i can take it for every... bit... of plastoid and durasteel it has. idgaf about the aesthetic. hell, wish this island was connect to the mainland instead of so far out to sea, that ya gotta have a CAVE to get to it.)

      I was planning on driving to the crash site until I learned it’s a separate island. I didn’t even go to the island or cave yet.

    how do you stop the platform toppling off the jack before you're done

    • @AmirsCraft
      @AmirsCraft  Před měsícem

      Normally, you wont have to do anything. It just glues on. It seems you’ve encountered a glitch or bug. Unfortunately, I’m not sure how to fix this. But for now, instead of placing a jack and building a vehicle on that, you can try placing a wall corner piece (those wooden or stone pillars) and build your vehicles upon that.
