Daniil Dubov is an amazing player. We are all aware of that. But very rarely do we see top players actually happy with a game that they have played. After this game ended, Dubov made a post on Facebook saying, "I don’t get excited about the way I play too often, but come on, what a game! Still can’t get over it. Great commentary. The amazing thing to me was that the evaluation bar was equal through all of Dubov’s sacrificial play. He wasn’t being flashy for the sake of being flashy, he was playing good moves. One of my favorite games I’ve seen.
