    Veranda Preserve in Port St Lucie Florida is a 55 plus active adult community located in the southern most section of St Lucie County. The builder is Lennar and they are offering new construction of all shapes, sizes and budgets. If you are looking for new construction in Florida at an affordable price you should consider Veranda Preserve in Port St Lucie.
    The smallest of homes is 1410 SqFt A 1 story, 2 bed 2 bath homes.. starting around $275,000. And the largest of the floorplans at Veranda Preserve is 2800 SqFt.
    Veranda Preserve in Port St Lucie is a 55 plus neighborhood that offers a wide variety of elegant single-family homes, all new construction and designed specifically to accommodate those 55 years of age or older. Collections offer one and two-story floorplans, All with the beauty of a low maintenance. Of $255 a month… it is one of the lowest in the area for an active adult community. They are not part of the Tradition main hoa.
    The community amenities include a clubhouse with resort style pool, they plan to have a café, state of the art fitness center, tennis and pickleball. This is a gated neighborhood which provides for extra security.
    Veranda Preserve home. Included in the base price are total impact resistance windows, architectural shingle roof with a 50 year warranty, all home appliances and brick paver driveways.

      Par for the course at any 55+ community. You get the common amenities which to make it affordable is going to result in small lots. Show be a 55+ that is on large lots, and if it does exist it will be 1+ million.

    Hello Lisa. I will relocate my family to Florida, Treasure Coast, hopefully in the next 2-4 months. Am I able to negotiate a pool with a new construction home? or, Do any new homes include a pool with property? Not looking for 55+ community.

      Not in this community and they have gone to "BIDDING" only highest and best gets the home.... things have changed a great deal.

    I was told that certain elevations are extra! In your video you said that there's no additional cost. I am specifically interested in the Key Largo floor plan at Veranda Preserve with the elevation that has the "shutters" in the middle over the entry door. Am I incorrect?

      Louis, I called my rep and only the coastal is at no charge... apparently with the rising demand for real estate prices are increasing. It's a $3000 upgrade for 2 of the elevations. Most builder increase the base price.... they increase the elevation package. It"s still one of the better values in Port St Lucie. Thank you for watching!

      Thank you Lisa. I was told $6,000 for the other elevations! I will be sure to check again on that. Just out of curiosity, do you think the location of Lennar Preserve is safe from flooding, as it's pretty close to the water? I live in California so I can't be there to see for myself.

      They do not allow structural changes... you can do this after you close on the house... ( extend the patio pavers)...

    To build are they requiring that your house be sold first?

      If you are getting a loan, you do have to qualify. If you can't carry 2 mortgages the lender will REQUIRE the house be sold before the house is finished ( by the closing date). You will have to make application with the lender at time of signing a contract to build. Thank you for watching.

    Are these homes available now? Is there any first time home buyers incentives. Y a lot fee? Plus you pay property taxes annually. Would like to visit site hoping to move somewhere warmer in 6-8 months

      Hi Millicent , this builder had moved to speculative construction and when units come up for sale you must "bid" on the house. The highest wins the bid. I am not aware of any first time home buyer incentives offered by the builder. You might find a private mortgage company that offers something. Thank you for watching~

      Lennar just changed it up... due to DEMAND, Its a bidding process, they are basically building specs and letting people bid on them. It's a different world right now. :(

      10% to 15%.... it's usually 10% of the base price and 50% cash of the upgrades.
