Today we finally made it to Disney Springs and then lunch at our fave - Sickies.

Ah thank you. Itâs funny because I was talking to my son after a trip to Tesco last week and I was saying youâll never guess how much I got this for etc etc and he said why is it when you are young you brag about how expensive something is but when youâre old (thanks Jake) you brag about how cheap you got something. Itâs so true. I donât tell people the costs because I want you all to know how much money weâve spent itâs purely to let people know how much they could be looking to spend or how so do something in a cheaper way. Xx

We were in Orlando in Feb and we watch vlogs before we go to see alternative places to eat / new ideas and we love yours as you are so honest and a great family. We were in Starbucks and I showed a studded tumbler to my husband and said âwho does this remind you ofâ instantly he said Abbie đ x
@@janetburn930 I love a holiday vlog to Orlando and as much as I love the parks I actually prefer to watch people go to other places and like you - to restaurants Iâve not tried. We have a few more on the list we havenât ventured too yet but I do love to show that itâs not just about the theme parks.
đ Abbie does love a Starbucks tumbler. Not sure if you saw the vlog at the Poly when she picked up the Christmas Disney one for $50. I watched a vlog the other day and saw it was in the outlets for $14. Sheâs crossing her fingers they might have one of them when we go back. đ«Ł

I love the fact you are properly 'living' your life and doing what makes you happy. End of June is another cheaper time to go! Also, if you ride the rides when the July 4th fireworks are on, it's virtually empty. We rode Haunted Mansion last year totally alone! Will Jake come with you? Is he getting fed up now he's 16?
Sounds amazing. Difficult time to take the kids though as no holidays in June time so would have to take them for a full 2 weeks (unless of course we only did a week like December). Jake loves Florida and the theme parks so yes heâs still excited to come. Xx

Thanks Gemma, yeah we went last week in Feb, first week in March 2020, so maybe same again & make it a leap year thing! (Every 4 years đ) 29th Feb 2020 went to Hollywood studios! Weather is good for me too.. not so hot, think summer Iâd be a sweaty đ„” mess

Hi Burgesses, love your vlogs, always enjoy watching as Orlando veterans ourselves. We are going in August for the first time this year, normally go October/November. Have you got any tips/advice for going in August? Have heard the weather can be a bit intense⊠âïž âïž
Ah thank you. Glad you enjoy them. Definitely be prepared to be hot. Very very hot. I would say a cooling towel and a fan is a must but to be honest we didnât use them all that much last year. Saying that I wouldnât go without them in the bag đ. I am going to plan this years trip a little differently and plan some of the indoor/ shopping things later in the day when more likely to be stormy. xx

We are Merlin pass holders too and my son creates insta and CZcams content so we at the parks most weekends and holidays....I will keep a eye out for you đ
Oh fantastic. Weâll be at Alton Towers on Motherâs Day (unless it snows like it did 1 year on opening weekend đ„¶). Also have Thorpe booked for this month too. Hate having to book days. X
@@theburgesses2004 we are very local too the 3 southern parks (10mins from Legoland) and have found last year unless it a special date you can often book the night before or on the day! So it is possible to make last minute plans!
@@barneysarmy1939 ah thatâs good. We didnât have passes last year so only experience of the booking system was after covid when it was all crazy. Ah thatâs cool youâre so close. Thorpe Park is our closest about an hour away. Xx

Does a package not incl the accommodation
BA either offer car and flights or hotel and flights as a package. I looked at both options but was cheaper to book it the way we did. The great thing about a package and only have to pay a deposit rather than all at once x

Surprisingly no. We did in Dec 22 though so hit and miss. Xx
@The Burgesses thanks! We just went in jan but my son will be starting school this sept so I have to think about our options for going next year. I think august is a cheaper time to go but worried about the heat! We usually go around feb to may time đ x
@@rachelthorne453 oh I wouldnât worry about it especially if heâs only young. We did a May trip when they were both at primary. 1 week school holidays 1 week not. They never fined us and to be honest if they do itâs ÂŁ60 per parent per child so not the end of the world. 4 teacher strikes in 2 months. Teachers arenât that concerned about the kids missing school! X
