What about labor cost? Overhead? Super important to include those in COGS to truly understand the all-in costs to make a finished candle 💯
Absolutely!! I usually do (COGS x 4) + (10-20%) to account for additional costs! They was more of just a look into the actual material costs but I totally should have mentioned that in the video!

.87 for wax?! I chose the wrong wax 😅😅
If it helps, we buy by the pallet and don’t have to pay for shipping because the manufacturer of the wax is so close to us 😅

I've heard manufacturers won't sell to non-supply companies. Do you just have a good manufacturer or do you think because of your proximity they were willing to sell a pallet?
