    If the battery is made out of lithium DO NOT THINK OF OPENING IT you won't be able to get ride of it and it is also VERY reactive so if it gets in touch with water H2O it will literally explode and the explosion will be very violent Wich means that if you're doing this at home trust me you'll break something and get hurt

    If you were to extract carbon from battery make sure that it say "carbon-zinc" or "hevay duty"

      @@FEtriple6 remember, NaOH is a _very_ strong base. Carbon is practically inert to these kinds of things, while copper will _immediately_ dissolve into light aquamarine garbage Cu(OH)2 (copper hydroxide)

      Its simple. More power faster reaction. and to make 1kg of sodium hydroxide you need 2 kg salt. I dosn't know how many power are you will need. But its way easier to buy it online.

      @@nageratt you actually can just go to home Depot and buy the shit. Drano makes it and it's called kitchen granules. I know cuz I buy it to use it for what it's actually intended for It works great better than anything else for cleaning drains. It's particularly good at cleaning food grease out of your drains

      Its little bit complicated bro , first you need to electrolyse NaOH at high intensity and collect Hydrogen and oxygen separately then you can use compressor ( like from refrigerator ) to compress it and then add it to Gas tank , it sounds easy but isn’t that easy , good thing is you can still make it at home, remember: Never compress HYDROGEN and OXYGEN together , that could be deadly and even blow your home

      ​@@twimymotorcycle999 yes... Actually this method will only produce a small amount of naoh. As you saw the I dictator didn't even turn completely read means the NaOH was very low... Even lower baking soda. The are some main steps to do. There should be permeable membrane that let's ions flow through it and block both the side mixing. The cathode produces the NaOH and the chlorine gas at the anode reacts with water and NaOH to hydrogen hypochlorite which is an acid and naclo2 both of these reacts with naoh and neutralize it. This method won't work unless it's just for fun

    I love how you use household items to do this. You use the carbon rods from a battery instead of buying the carbon rods online, you use table salt, which literally everybody has, and you also use water.

      If we test acid with it, its colour remains same as itself it is acidic.
