It is your spirit that is save didn’t begin with Abel Damina, I first learned it from Andrew Womack who as at then was preaching it in Abel Damina Station (KNL tv) and then Abel Damina was still preaching the prosperity gospel. As at then I thought Andrew Womack was right, but I later discovered from scriptures that he was wrong. When later Abel Damina jumped into this line without even making reference to Andrew Womack as though he is the originator of it I already knew he was wrong. There is eternal security in Christ. What we don't have is unconditional eternal security. Jesus gave us eternal ( not temporary) life, but it is conditional upon our faith IN Christ

That's true. The Scriptures sufficiently and abundantly teaches about the security of the believer.. But like you said, many folks don't really know what that "believe" truly means; To believe in God or His Christ biblically means 3 things: 1. To assent to all that God has said or made known 2. To commit oneself to Him 3. To personally trust Him in obedience These are the 3 core indicators we must consistently see in a true believer. Many ends with 1 and are walking with stage 1 ans that's why many finds it difficult to accept that a believer can never perish. Yet, Jesus plainly said whoever believes shall never perish. So sir the main question should not be who is a believer. The main question should be why did Jesus die for your sins. When you find that out why, then you know that its matthew 7:2 and Galatians 2:20. that makes one into a Believer(which is not what God ordined us to be) but rather Sons of God(Which is takes a process and every believer has to good through it). I don't know if people don't read their Bibles or they just choose to pick the aspects they like and ignore the rest. Jesus himself said not everyone who calls him Lord will make it into the kingdom. He was talking to all his followers including the 12. The problem is that people think eternal life is some concept, some thing that makes you forever saved. The response of the believer to a God that would make salvation available to us who didn’t deserve it, is to work out our salvation! It is apart of growing and being fruitful in our salvation. Romans 12:1 calls it our reasonable service! John calls it eternal life! Ephesians tells us we are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. Saying a believer can be unsaved is an insult to God and Jesus Christ who saves and it is clear contradiction with scriptures. A few questions: 1. how many times do we get born again or saved? 2. How much sin does it take for one to lose their salvation. 3. Do we lose our salvation each time we sin? If yes, how do we get it back in this case? Do we believe in Jesus afresh? Since we are saved by Grace through Faith? Unless we come to understand that salvation is not by works but by grace through faith and that Jesus is the author (starter) and finisher (perfecter) of our faith. We will keep saying things like this. Finally, If Jesus is the author and finisher of our Faith (through which we are saved), losing salvation would mean Jesus failed in starting and perfecting our Faith. I cannot condemn someone for believing that they can lose salvation. But when you consider it critically, it is an insult to Jesus.
Flesh and blood is the fallen body. We will receive a new body in resurrection. Man is forever a creature with body, not just a spirit. A spirit without a body is naked. Its not God's definition of Man. Christ is our example, when he resurrected, he was not a naked spirit without a body. Resurrection means being clothed with a new body. II Corinthians 5:3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.

@okoroaforpatrick9010 Another misinterpreted scripture. Man is a spirit clothed in a "body". The body was given to man to be able interact with "matter" which his environment is composed of. So while Adam and Eve spiritually interacted with God (who is a Spirit), theymaterially interacted with creation including, animals and the environment. When man sinned, death (separation) occured. Spiritual death (his spirit man became separated from God) and physical death ( breath or life separated from his body). At new birth in Christ, God who is a spirit gave birth to us. What is born of Spirit is spirit and what is born of flesh is flesh (John 3:6). That's why we are now able to worship him in spirit and in truth. When we shall be raptured, we will drop our mortal bodies to wear our immortal bodies (just like christ).
It is not yet clear "What we SHALL be". That is future. Because we know that FLESH AND BLOOD CANNOT inherit what we will inherit. But Jesus wasn't flesh and blood when He rose. He was "flesh and bones".

I love Dr Abel Damina's teachings. He would have a lot of enemies who wont understand his level of indepth knowledge/understanding or refuse to know due to ........., but that is what comes with his calling i guess. I actually don't think he is controversial because he tries to justify most of his statements and answers by backing them up with scriptures. Also I have come to the realization that no one is 100% right about the Bible and that's why it's better for us to know God for ourselves. These guys just wants us to feel guilty so that satan can accuse us, but if you know your right in Christ you will under what the bible is saying andunderstand what Dr AbelDamina is teaching. All has sinned and come short of the glory.
The problem is that you consider sin to be, fornication, adultery, lying, murder, stealing, unforgiveness, etc. What about the very small, innocent sins? Are they not sin too? Do you know that you who passively admired a woman only once a whole day is equally guilty before God as a fornicator who sleeps with 20 women in one day? That is the reason why Salvation (which is actually making heaven) is nit based on your own acts of righteousness but 100% on christ.
When we begin to see sin beyond the physical and see the mind in this equation we will now know that only a speck may survive the measure of God's standard. Man is spirit, soul and body. The three must be present before we say it's man. Therefore, in salvation all three are paid for. Just that in the present the Spirit of God seals man's spirit which is the main repository of divine affairs to keep man aligning in his body and soul till the time of the fullness of the possession of all that Jesus paid for. Please pastors, If you are born again, I mean born again, you cannot lose your salvation. Abel Damina made references to pertinent scriptures. yet none of you have controverted the scriptures, but just preaching from your emotions. I have been in a particular church for almost 3 years now. I saw them inside out and I can tell you majority f them have no encounter with the saviour. Yes, they have been in church yet no Zoe life of God in them. They have learnt over the years the language of the church. They even quote some Scriptures, worse still some of them are leaders in the church. I now know why. Their foundation is very flawed. They were never exposed to the message that bring salvation, which is the message of the cross. When a preacher preached on healing and concluded that if you want to start enjoying healing you must give your life to christ. When someone responds to alter call in that circumstance, he is is not and cannot be born again, sir. Apostle paul said, I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ.. for therein lies the power to save a soul. It is the gospel that save, no other message. Most people in such megachurches become "born again" in some other way. It is the lifestyle of those people, who unfortunately are unstable that makes these pastors disbelieve eternal salvation. When a man encounter jesus, His life is changed forever. One of the hallmark of salvation is you cannot be comfortable in sin. How can you say you are born again and remain in sin, or live your life the way you like? no. There is no pattern life that in gospels and the epistles. The only Man, Judas Iscariot was never born again. hence he was called the Son of perdition. Those of you quoting heb 6:4 should read the whole chapter to understand what it truly means. That's true. The Scriptures sufficiently and abundantly teaches about the security of the believer..
But like you said, many folks don't really know what that "believe" truly means;
To believe in God or His Christ biblically means 3 things:
1. To assent to all that God has said or made known
2. To commit oneself to Him
3. To personally trust Him in obedience
These are the 3 core indicators we must consistently see in a true believer.
Many ends with 1 and are walking with stage 1 ans that's why many finds it difficult to accept that a believer can never perish. Yet, Jesus plainly said whoever believes shall never perish. Simple and Final!

So sir the main question should not be who is a believer. The main question should be why did Jesus die for your sins. When you find that out why, then you know that its matthew 7:2 and Galatians 2:20. that makes one into a Believer(which is not what God ordined us to be) but rather Sons of God(Which is takes a process and every believer has to good through it). And thats why the Book of Romans was written it shows the 12 path of spiritual Progress.

Saying a believer can be unsaved is an insult to God and Jesus Christ who saves and it is clear contradiction with scriptures.
A few questions:
1. how many times do we get born again or saved?
2. How much sin does it take for one to lose their salvation.
3. Do we lose our salvation each time we sin? If yes, how do we get it back in this case? Do we believe in Jesus afresh? Since we are saved by Grace through Faith?
Unless we come to understand that salvation is not by works but by grace through faith and that Jesus is the author (starter) and finisher (perfecter) of our faith. We will keep saying things like this.
Finally, If Jesus is the author and finisher of our Faith (through which we are saved), losing salvation would mean Jesus failed in starting and perfecting our Faith.
I cannot condemn someone for believing that they can lose salvation. But when you consider it critically, it is an insult to Jesus.

@okoroaforpatrick9010 Another misinterpreted scripture. Man is a spirit clothed in a "body". The body was given to man to be able interact with "matter" which his environment is composed of. So while Adam and Eve spiritually interacted with God (who is a Spirit), theymaterially interacted with creation including, animals and the environment. When man sinned, death (separation) occured. Spiritual death (his spirit man became separated from God) and physical death ( breath or life separated from his body). At new birth in Christ, God who is a spirit gave birth to us. What is born of Spirit is spirit and what is born of flesh is flesh (John 3:6). That's why we are now able to worship him in spirit and in truth. When we shall be raptured, we will drop our mortal bodies to wear our immortal bodies (just like christ).
It is not yet clear "What we SHALL be". That is future. Because we know that FLESH AND BLOOD CANNOT inherit what we will inherit. But Jesus wasn't flesh and blood when He rose. He was "flesh and bones".

I love Dr Abel Damina's teachings. He would have a lot of enemies who wont understand his level of indepth knowledge/understanding or refuse to know due to ........., but that is what comes with his calling i guess. I actually don't think he is controversial because he tries to justify most of his statements and answers by backing them up with scriptures. Also I have come to the realization that no one is 100% right about the Bible and that's why it's better for us to know God for ourselves. These guys just wants us to feel guilty so that satan can accuse us, but if you know your right in Christ you will under what the bible is saying andunderstand what Dr AbelDamina is teaching. All has sinned and come short of the glory.

The problem is that you consider sin to be, fornication, adultery, lying, murder, stealing, unforgiveness, etc. What about the very small, innocent sins? Are they not sin too? Do you know that you who passively admired a woman only once a whole day is equally guilty before God as a fornicator who sleeps with 20 women in one day? That is the reason why Salvation (which is actually making heaven) is nit based on your own acts of righteousness but 100% on christ.

When we begin to see sin beyond the physical and see the mind in this equation we will now know that only a speck may survive the measure of God's standard.
Man is spirit, soul and body. The three must be present before we say it's man. Therefore, in salvation all three are paid for. Just that in the present the Spirit of God seals man's spirit which is the main repository of divine affairs to keep man aligning in his body and soul till the time of the fullness of the possession of all that Jesus paid for.

As for my take on salvation if for any slightest fall of the saved man his Savior throws him into hell, I wonder if he had a Savior at all. None, is without a fall all through life after being saved. Now, have you wondered the place of spiritual growth for a baby or growing christian whose heart is for his Lord Savior but he still falls while he learns to walk in the truth of his faith. Peradventure the trump sounds will this one for his sin still be cast out? Even to a mature one who because of the weakness of the flesh fell a time will he also burn in hell? Now if it's not defined then heaven will be for the lucky or fortunate saved ones who will be lucky or fortunate not to fall the time of the great trump.
Please pastors, If you are born again, I mean born again, you cannot lose your salvation. Abel Damina made references to pertinent scriptures. yet none of you have controverted the scriptures, but just preaching from your emotions. I have been in a particular church for almost 3 years now. I saw them inside out and I can tell you majority f them have no encounter with the saviour. Yes, they have been in church yet no Zoe life of God in them. They have learnt over the years the language of the church. They even quote some Scriptures, worse still some of them are leaders in the church. I now know why. Their foundation is very flawed. They were never exposed to the message that bring salvation, which is the message of the cross. When a preacher preached on healing and concluded that if you want to start enjoying healing you must give your life to christ. When someone responds to alter call in that circumstance, he is is not and cannot be born again, sir. Apostle paul said, I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ.. for therein lies the power to save a soul. It is the gospel that save, no other message. Most people in such megachurches become "born again" in some other way. It is the lifestyle of those people, who unfortunately are unstable that makes these pastors disbelieve eternal salvation. When a man encounter jesus, His life is changed forever. One of the hallmark of salvation is you cannot be comfortable in sin. How can you say you are born again and remain in sin, or live your life the way you like? no. There is no pattern life that in gospels and the epistles. The only Man, Judas Iscariot was never born again. hence he was called the Son of perdition. Those of you quoting heb 6:4 should read the whole chapter to understand what it truly means. If you are saved , you are secure in the arms of the father, You do your father's biddings and not the devil's. If you continue to live your old life after claiming you are born again, you are simply not born again. Those who are born again know it for the spirt bears witness with them that they are the Sons of GOD. They cannot be lost. John 17:12 is very clear. None was lost of all that God gave Jesus, except the Son of perdition. You either believe the scripture or your emotions. Unfortunately, The blood is greater than your emotions.
In Exd 2. Moses escaped Egypt as a murder. In Heb 11, the bible recored his action as action of faith. No mention of him escaping Egypt because he killed. That is the gospel of grace. We know of a particular church whose some of her wealthiest members belong to powerful cartel involved in Dollar round tripping and major bank collapses. They here the message of their GOs, who believe in you can lose salvation, yet they are not changed in heart. Their actions brought us to where we are in nigeria today.

Lastly, may I make bold to say that the Scripture does not need special anointing to study and understand. You just have to study the way you study for your university degree.
