The start where Jennie gave a strong intro then Lisa enters with smooth lines are so amazing. The two differ from its feels and colors but how that can fit each other. Also the enter and exit of the rap part that litterary contrast .

Yes I agree there were a lot of cuts. But they were not just crazy, random, and misplaced. Every cut was specific to the beat of the song. It helped convey the power of the song! I’m not pulling this out of thin air either 😂 a professional video editor(edit: Jordan Ome) reacted to it and explained. it can be overwhelming tho 😂 plus anyone else hear “black pink black pink” in their minds after the song is over? 😂 or am I the only one being hypnotized ?

Just look for Jordan Orme who has worked with some of the biggest stars in the music industry, he explains why Blackpink editors cut the way they do, and how they aren't just simple jump cuts.

Not that I mind what people think of my opinion, but I think some people don’t understand what I meant in my comments about the editing 😅
The cuts made the song more hard hitting and does it well for that intention, BUT it could have such a bigger impact if it slowed down during the slow parts (like I said in video with Rosé and Jisoo’s parts).
Also not sure where some ppl thought I said the cuts were misplaced or out of time. Literally said there were cuts every few ‘counts’ as in music counts.
