VLOG 55 - LIFE IN ASHRAM (PUTTAPARTHI, INDIA)

- Hey Guys, welcome to my new vlog about our travel to Puttaparthi, India :) Here I'd like to tell you about the life in Ashram, how it is here, how the Ashram apartment look like, various kinds of Canteens, Mandir, Shopping Centre and other activities that happen here.
Few notes that are not included in the video..
Apartment:
I've only shown our apartment where we stay (which are 200 rupees per night). Apart from this type of room you can stay in shared room with 8 people (costs 30 rupees per night), sheds (huge room with many many people, costs about 5-10 rupees per mattress place as far I'm concerned). There're also a better rooms for 300, 500 and 800 per night (those rooms have hot water, air conditioners and new furniture, walls, etc). If you're coming and you want to stay in better room, it's better to mention it beforehand, cause we didn't say anything and the stuff just gave us this standard room for 200 (and only later on we found out that there're better quality rooms too).
For food, apart from what I've shown, you can also get completely free coupon (which you get at the end of each morning's bhajan on the exit). For that coupon you can eat as much as you wish and completely free 11-13:30. Similar food as you get in South Indian Canteen for lunch for 10 rupees coupon.
There're also many events, meeting and happenings occur all the time - the information about them can be found on the notice boards around Ashram or on the official website: www.srisathyasa...

I first went first in 1986, then 1989, 1990, 1991, 1993, 1995, 1997, 1999 then finally 2010. Prashanti has grown from a tiny village to an International place of peace and bliss.

We are coming this place every year in Seva.... I saw this place around 10-12 times, and saw Swami in physical form also, I'm so lucky ♥️♥️♥️I love this place it's a heaven on earth 🌎

I lived there for 10 years of my life... invited by Sai. It was a pretty surreal and unbelievable experience. He was not at all anything ordinary or human. Sadly, there were also quite a lot of toxic people venturing there and they could make your life pretty much a hell. Other from that, it was an out-of-wordly experience with enormous amount of miracles and mystical experiences!

Congratulations. You made a nice video but there is so much more about this Ashram that you will have to perhaps make a couple of more vdos.
As explained by BABA, the purpose of coming n staying at Prashanti Nilayam, "the abode of Supreme Peace" is to do ones personal Sadhna. The environment is absolutely condusive for this. And the basic pre requisite for this is not to mingle and socialize yet again in the Ashram, becoz that creates new Karma and defeats the purpose of a great opportunity

Nowhere in the world I found this much silence with greenery where all are very friendly. You have captured it beautifully. I visited there twice. You can step the place only if Swami wishes so. You are lucky one! I wonder how you managed to capture this in your camera as there is restriction. Photography restricted, right?
